I think sometimes it just felt a bit more calming and laid back. I don't think people usually expect them to be better than the originals though, it really depends on preferences.
I think it sounds better. I like songs in a minor key, which daycore usually shifts it to. The slower tempo helps me relax. I like the reverb on these, when all my music is right against my ears it’s nice to hear it from what sounds like another perspective. Not for everyone though.
