Daetwyler's development of coated doctor blades marked a leap into new possibilities in the printing industry. This innovation not only extended the service life of the blades but also enhanced overall print quality. While the company has been offering proven standard coatings for years, it consistently strives to optimize its products.
In addition to developing new products, Daetwyler SwissTec places the highest priority on the quality of its existing products. The aim is to maintain and improve doctor blade performance through rigorous quality monitoring. The internal metallurgical laboratory is equipped for sample preparation, features various light microscopes with cameras, a laser scanning microscope, a fully automatic microhardness tester, and a spark and X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. Daetwyler SwissTec has also implemented and continually improves various quality assurance processes.
