I love how Andy can mimic the monuments sound in the cleans and even give out more intense growls than the previous vocalist 😍
He kinda sounded like Chris Baretto here(former vocalist) which is freaking awesome
It's cool but not necessarily surprising on my end. I could be wrong but it sounds like he has a bit more experience with screaming which believe it or not helps you learn to sing. Every screamer works on their breathing and techniques to get the sounds that they want from their throat
@@Devond085please I mastered screaming and still can't sing to save my life. Everyone has a different technique. That's what keeps music interesting

Loved the vocal style on Amanuensis! I still play it on repeat, by far the best Monuments album. Really looking forward to this one.
I Think Chris Barretto had an incredible take to vocals ... his version of the walk is still the heaviest periphery song of all time.

@@spineless_ i like this time Andy took a more Chris-esque aproach in the vocals, these fit way more than the vocals in Animus (and the vocals in Animus are great, yet these vocals, these ARE Monuments).
@@miserirken Completely agree with you man. Chris’ vocal style in Amanuensis is part of what makes the signature monuments sound IMO and Andy is emulating it perfectly in this track. Not an easy thing to do and he’s doing it REALLY well.

As someone who absolutely loves Chris and his work, Andy picked up the torch and is smashing these tracks so far.
he sounds a LOT like Chris here, I'm actually surprised.
Thought the exact same. I was a bit anxious about Andy joining the band as I'd never heard of him before but he's the best possible fit they could of found. Even the vocal melodies are super similar. Love it!
He's doing a great job performing the old songs as well. Got the chance to see them live before the pandemic broke out.
Not a big fan of Andy in Monu. He’s a good vocalist, but his style doesn’t match monuments well imo. He’d fit better in Erra or something.
