I was stopped by a man claiming to be police around train station last year on the 9 sept. I demanded he show me his ID but he was in denial, thankfully a police in proper dress code came and resolved the issue.

Without the uniform you can't expect public to just work with you, anyone can pretend to be one and even if its just a suspicious you guys need to handle the situation professionally cos you work for the public safety, not just hurt them and say misunderstanding.

'Misunderstanding' by inept Unfit Police, maimed a young innocent man permanently.
I was stopped by a man claiming to be police around train station last year on the 9 sept.
I demanded he show me his ID but he was in denial, thankfully a police in proper dress code came and resolved the issue.
