After two years she decided to put an end to all this and told us, her kids she is gonna leave this earth.
She gave us all (her family) the chance to give her an appropriate last farewell.
That's tough, that's life, to all of you that have a living parent/s, please don't forget to give them a simple call and tell them you love them or just have a short conversation.

My mother sacrificed so much in her life to ensure my upbringing was better than hers. I remember the 3 jobs she worked, the few hours of sleep she had between jobs, the days and nights with my aunt and uncle because mom was working. I own everything to my mother. This was a great song. I would not be the man I am today if it wasn’t for her struggle and hustle.

One of my best memories of my mom was the day i graduated Marine Corps Bootcamp and all the families were coming off the bleachers to hug their kids and my mom walked right by me because she didnt recognize me and when she saw me and how much weight i had lost in 3 months (50lbs), she hugged me and told me she was never more proud of me. That meant more to me than anything ever. She traveled hundreds of miles to see me graduate and she didn't even own a car.

I needed to hear this. My mom past away four years ago due to cancer. I know she isn't suffering anymore, but I remember her working just to make sure food was on the table, roof over our heads. She also tried to help take care of her brothers and sisters and her mom (Nana) before she went home to Jesus. She carried a lot on her shoulders but, one thing I know, she didn't want me, my brother or sister to sit around crying because she's gone. She wanted us to have our time to mourn then get on our damn feet and move forward. I know I'm sharing too much but, I know how it feels to not be able to call or just go to her to get a hug. It hurts, but her words still resonates with me and this song, I needed to hear it. Shaq thanks for reacting to it, I hope you talk to your mom after she gets off work and tell her you love her.
