We all love the potential of JJ but how can you argue against Cade? He was near perfect all year. Accurate as ever and very few mental mistakes. Yeah sure JJ might be even better but I doubt he will be as smart and why take a chance? But either way we are in good shape!
Really going to miss Haskins, prolly more than any back since Mike Hart. Love his run style, he’s a certified Michigan man.
Dude is a workhorse and for sure the most important running back for Michigan since Hart was here. That could very well change as Corum and Edwards both bring a skill set Michigan hasn't been able utilize to this extent in terms of how complete they are in not only their running style (both are extremely elusive burners who also embrace contact and using power) but what they bring to the passing game as well.
On a side note the Tennessee Titans got their successor to Derrick Henry and according to reports out of their training camp Haskins has been extremely impressive to the point of Derrick Henry coming out and talking about how great he's been.
@@Zappappappappa I said early on.. This guy is one of the best NFL backs we have had in a long time. We have had many great college backs, but he is that guy that is so durable can run you over, juke you out or as we seen several times go over the top and then leave you in the dust. I think his biggest asset is that this guy never ever lost yardage. He always found a way to get positive yardage and that is so important in the course of any drive. It mostly come from his ability to find any hole quickly and get in it. You didnt see him dancing around in the backfield. Always going forward and then sliding behind his line and in the gap. Granted our line did a great job of giving them, but you just seen his vision. His extra yards after contact were unreal as well. He can also catch out of the backfield though he was not used that way often.
It all spells NFL success in my book.
Hell of a year. Especially when you think about low the expectations were this time last year.
That Nebraska game though… that was a good team that lost a ton of close games. They almost beat us. Fair and square.
