@@warpfireminis yeah, i saw that double VLs list are still viable (which is my favorite rats list at this moment) but this one was wonderful for playing too, so i'm very interested how it would be changed now, even if listbuilding near new edition is kind of... Sad? Strange feeling 😝

Hello, question for the experienced Skaven commander: The screaming bell can gain priest keyword and should then know universal prayers (not the clan pestilens ones - fine) but would this include curse?
From what I understand the Screaming Bell would not get to pick a prayer since it wasn't a Priest during list building.
Sorry I'm a beginner but didn't understand how you could jump forward with verminlord then jump back. A spell in hero phase?
The Verminlords can teleport around via the Grey Seer spell Skitterleap; then if they're wholly within 6" of a Gnawhole at the end of the movement phase they can jump into it and pop out at another Gnawhole!
Why didnt he pick the side objectives turn 1 to force you forward?
My hunch is that he looked at the deployment and thought I would be able to get both Grey Seers on the side objective which would score me two bonus points; where his Butcher is deployed it wouldn't have been able to reach either of the side objectives so he would be down 2 points right out the gate.

Forgive my ignorance, but how is the plague furnace getting -1 to be hit and -1 to be wounded? I know they get the -1 to be wounded, but I can’t find the -1 to be wounded.
It's one of the Skaven rules! Non-monster heroes get Look Out Sir in combat as well, so as long as it's within 3" of a unit with 3 or more models it gets -1 to hit in combat.

Do you think he should have gone in on turn 2?
If I were in his shoes I think I'm full sending there and just hoping for decent charge rolls. That said, with me getting the double immediately after I think I would have been able to fight my way out no matter what.

Big mistake for Ogors putting the butcher so far up.
Additionally if he made the outside objectives active turn 1, it would have forced you closer.
And I can't wait for 4th to reign in Skaven properly. I hope plague cencer bearers get shoved into the ground and never come back. That fact that 5 tiny rats wielding flails can kill a gigantic beast with zero effort is exactly what's wrong with 3.0 right now. Sure, make rats have crazy weapons that do fun explosive damage. Not the on foot guys. Sorry. It doesn't work for me. There's no way stonehorns should die to rats unless it's a horde of 20+ and even then it should be because they have all the buffs and had to use all their tricks to pull it off. I hate Skaven at the moment. The army does not fit into the narrative right now as it stands.
