I miss these older Lego themes, where the stories were interesting and compelling, but never expanded upon too much, and kept simple and vague enough, so that it was up to your imagination to decide what happened.

Monster Fighters was one of my favourite series, with Frank Rock being my favourite Monster Fighter, the Werewolf being my favourite Monster and the Vampire Moonstone being my favourite Moonstone.
All the sets were amazing but does anyone else realize a crucial mistake that LEGO did when they made the Vampire Castle???
Not all of the Moonstones were included on the Eclipse Tower. The Zombie Moonstone was missing from the Set. If it was a Decision made due to it being an uneven number of Moonstones, then why not either add another Moonstone to make it 8 or take out the Zombie Moonstone and bring it to 6.

The zombie moonstone was the last set to be added, honestly did Lego ever release a statement on why they stopped with monster fighters in the first place? From starting in 2012 to being axed in 2014 to 2023 where we still have a huge amount of people demanding they bring it back especially during September n October. Is there a way to like contact Lego or something if we all join together maybe we can spark something plus with Halloween coming up it gives us the edge

This is the most underrated theme LEGO has done. Why on Earth they don't want to give anything "spooky" more than one wave is beyond me. This a Scooby Doo were both cut down in their prime!

Im glad I'm not the only one who remembers this line as a kid, sadly k only ever got to own the swamp-monster set and I love the swamp stone (although I'd probably like a different one if I had another set) I miss this line and I'd totally invest in getting the new sets if possible

The series kind of broke its own rules; it said there were only 6 moonstones, but there were 7 different variants in the set.

I never had any of the sets but they looked really fun. I remember looking through the old lego set books with the really old Ninjago sets, Like the Spinners. I saw them with my dad and we looked and said,”huh. Not bad” but we never bought any. Probably because I wasn’t into lego 14 years ago

Yeah same here. I remember getting the vampire hearse, the ghost train and the vampire castle for Christmas and stayed up all night building them.

Ok, I'm almost 60 and just "rediscovered" Legos. This is by far my favorite series! I have the Haunted House on order, waiting for it to arrive. You can still find most of the sets on Ebay, but they can be pricy. Does anybody know anything about the Chinese knock off sets? They are much cheaper and look identical to the Lego sets. Just askin'. Thanks for the great video! Looking forward to reliving some of my childhood!

I've used to collect all the Lego Monster Fighters set except the 2 zombie cars, the ghost clock, and the vampire candy set when I was a kid.
I remember getting, the swamp creature, the ghost train, the mummy, the werewolf, the vampire hearse, and I think the zombie graveyard set, I also remember getting the castle with all the stones or gems

Same here, I went crazy collecting this awesome series. The Haunted House is the only set I’m missing.
I used to have the ghost train but it was broken apart and put in my Lego bin. So years later I find the instructions online and rebuild it with the pieces in the bin. I had to make my own improvements so it has one car wheel, a red wing on a cart, the front is a bit shorter, and the fire isn’t green.

One of the most unique Lego series. It was very brave decision to set Lego theme in gothic horror setting. I was too old kid for them at the time, but now i bought several sets as an adult (today Vampire Castle arrived so I watch this video and series advertisment to celebrate it). I'm a big fan of gothic/lovecraftian horror themes so with Castle, Pirate and Western, Monster Fighters is one of the best Lego themes for me. I would like lovecraftian Lego sets, but i think thats immposible couse of adult topic.
