I do agree with you, I always try and sometimes find shortcuts (that are already known except for me). I do have a skill issue though so I am probably not beating crazy maps in the near future (womp womp). However, I stay probably 30 minutes more if I am actively searching+performing shortcuts so yeah (yes, even on easy-insane maps only) TLDR: I agree with you.
Being honest, I completely agree with you. Like seriously, imagine Crazyblox patching the "Lost Desert Cactus" just because "It ruins other player experiences". Like come on. I also agree that full map skips should be patched, since this would actually, ruin some of the non-shortcutters players experiences. Its not the first time that for example, The group button in AVM, people go for the elevator skip, and the ones that went for the button are like 😐(Especially in chaos severs) I have also a low-end device, but, capping the FPS to 60 was definitely innecesary.
Fortunately, mirror patches the skip and makes every skill issue player pay for their sins. Truly a W mirror for someone who soloed it after only playing it for 6 rounds.
If the glitch required 200+ FPS before then I'm baffled as to why it was locked straight to 60 instead of like 144 or smth. After almost 7 years of unlimited, that’s a ludicrous change. Also Crazy talks all this crap about shortcuts and still hasn't fixed the full room skip in Fallen where you ledge grab up to the second zipline and skip three buttons
Yeah, that just baffles me. I don't get why Crazyblox hasn't patched older shortcuts as he seems pretty adamant on patching those in the newer maps (any map since V50 in late 2022)
@@mattchew062307 Can't find the exact reason but it was something to do with 144Hz monitors I think. 144/72 is 2 so it lines up nicely and the extra frame to serve as an error margin. I'm open to correction on this though.

Ok, yes, the fps cap is completely unacceptabl and should be removed but some shortcuts like the lost desert cactus should be removed. Even if it isn't a half map skip it is still a giant skip. If the shortcut saves more than 2 seconds it should probably be removed as it completely throws all difficulty out of the window
I think that should depend on the difficulty. Maybe more than a second or two for Crazy+ but for easier difficulties all non-map skips should be allowed.
@@ducky-cool Not really sure to be honest. He's happy to have shortcuts patched in maps that he playtests, but I'm not sure how upset he gets at maingame shortcuts being patched.

Yeah, the amount of times I've died in AVM because too many people shortcutted, skipping Button 3 is not funny.

Update: the cap changed to 73.
Not much of a difference, but yeah its now a bit better I guess.
