Weird little things that bother me about the main character:
1) Doesn't lock his doors.
2) Has his curtains wide open in the *middle of the night.*
3) Sits in the middle of the living room with his back to the door.
4) Has garbage hiding spots.
And if a guy has time to break into my house and wave at me, he has time to get a swift baseball bat to the head.
If he came into my house, he'd get a .45-caliber "Hello".

This game is a perfect example of what Welcome to the Game successfully avoided. The need for turning off the gps tracker every minute shouldn't be there, not to mention how the enemy can get you at like 5 seconds into the game.
Welcome to the Game did avoid this, yeah, but Scrutinized didn't, sadly.
@A guy made to trigger you Patch made the game easier, yeah, but it's still not easy and what's more, the game is still keeping you away from focusing on "detective" aspect of the game.
And it still needs to allow players who finish casual to receive normal ending, instead of being laughed at.

Killers should come much less frequently, so you get lulled by the feeling of safety and have a chance to forget about them, but at the same time you can focus more on handling detective work, which should be the main strength of the game. Permadeath should be optional challenge, unless the number of nights gets reduced. Losing 7 nights in-game worth of progress is definitely not fun and doesn't encourage the player to try again.

John literally goes insane for 30 minutes.
I like the game, but yes. It seems unplayable right now. The killers need a rework, and the computer needs to actually do the things computers do, like deleting files, having other programs, different types of documents, ect. Having that would give a lot more variety to the actions you take to find the code, and also allow you to clean up the scope of the workspace by removing dud files. Anyway, I hope the creator makes at least some of these changes so John will play it again

Hey I appreciate John's editing at 17:48 he turned up game audio so we could hear the quiet sound. it's a minor detail that he didn't have to do, but it is nice of him to do it.
I was hoping this was a new game from the actual WTTG devs, but this didn't disappoint. Funny stuff man!
What I love about John is that he's not easily scared. He doesn't start screaming and flailing like some other CZcamsrs do, and when a jumpscare *does* get him scared, he either calls it out for being cheap or laughs it off. He also doesn't cuss every other word, and his bad game videos are some of the funniest in my personal opinion. Plus, I love it when he critiques the games at the end, so if someone looks up gameplay for something they made, they get a genuine review rather than "SCARIEST GAME EVER" or "what a load of crap". John, you're an awesome dude.

So, in these kinds of games do door locks just not exist?
@ Well, that's fair! But like... in the first one the doofus protag leaves his dang window open and doesn't lock his door for the killer. There are way more things he could do to barricade that door.
Yeah, and the protagonists seem weirdly incompetent. Not locking doors, keeping the windows wide open, and not realizing they're in over their head in the first "Welcome to the game."
Second game has a bit more sense to it, even if the protagonist can be lifted up with 1 hand by an old German dude. At least in that one you can lock the door and have to have people jump in through the window instead!
