- Kevin VanDam has been fishing prototype versions of the Gravel Dawg for the last couple years and he knew right away that it was going to be special! It runs true through all types of cover - rock, brush, grass. Nothing stops the Gravel Dawg!
The Gravel Dawg comes in two different versions - the Gravel Dawg 8 and Gravel Dawg 10. Both sizes keep the same body profile and size, but the bill changes between the two to achieve different diving depths. These baits will have you covered in the 5-10 ft. range throughout all parts of the country.

Fantastic bait that has already put a bunch of biggins in the boat for us! When the 🐐 designs a bait, especially a crankbait, jerkbait, or spinnerbait, you can bet it will catch them!
He is not lying about that rod and being able to toss it a country mile, I launch that so far I realized my backing was to much, , needed more line reel then I use to with other rods

What replacement trebles do you use?
I really like Strike King's stuff and KVD endorsed stuff, but Tackle Warehouse has some pretty bad reviews on the bait running correctly. Anyone have similar issues or are people saying it runs good?
I’ve got a couple and none of them run straight. It will barely even dive down
I have several of these baits and have no issues with them. I have only thrown them a few times, but I haven’t caught a bass under 4 pounds on them yet. I’ve caught several 4-7 pounders on them!
Kevin I bought all I could order based on your first video. I got the 8's and 10's. I bought them because you said they shake the slim off. The body of water I fish currently has slim. This bait was worse than other cranks I'm using for collecting leaves and slim. Totally disappointed with your recommendation on slim resistant baits.
