Goodwill’s 2023 Community Day

Community Day is a time to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day and reaffirm Goodwill’s commitment to the communities where we live, work and serve. This year, attendees engaged in a diversity, equity and inclusion panel discussion led by Northwestern Mutual about the documentary, The Loyola Project. The film is centered around “The Game of Change”, which took place on March 23, 1963, when the Loyola Ramblers won the NCAA Championship amid national racial turmoil. In honor of Dr. King, attendees also participated in an Act of Goodwill volunteer activity packing flu-fighting kits to help our communities during peak flu season.
