I OWE APOLOGIES AND EXPLANATIONS TO THE WHOLE DEAD BY DAYLIGHT COMMUNITY

- We all know the events happened on Twitter and around me during the last months. I did many of you wrong, while coming from a dark mental place that was bringing me to a spiral of self-destruction. I put my face in this because I think it's important to address everything directly to work and improve as a person and content creator.
The thing i’m missing in this video (correct me if i’m wrong) is an explanation and excuses.
For example: at the end you say ‘i have my weaknessess’ and the next sentence you say ‘so does superman.’ Does this mean you’re not at the wrong and your behavior was normal?
The problem - if i can be harsh - lays in the fact that you have self pity and forgot about OTHER people’s feelings/opinions.
Hopefully you’ll get through this and the past month helped you realised that there are positive sides in life.
I never said that the my behavior was normal, or I wouldn't ask sorry to anyone if I thought to be in the right. I said that I hurt people, I'll answer to that as I should. I also tried to explain what bringed me to my mental breakdown, because that's not my usual attitude. The second thing doesn't justify the pain I caused, and I'll work to fix what's broken inside me to avoid to hurt again who's surrounding me.

For all the people in the comments saying things like "we forgive you" etc. it is not your apology to accept. Its mine, and everyone else directly involved.
Im happy you have support and have recognized your mistakes, that shows growth.

Thank you for reaching me here. I truly understand the pain I caused to you and the other ones and I understand if you don't forgive me now or never. I'm still dealing with my anxiety and depression, but I'm working to face that directly and avoid environments that hurt my mental health. I wish you the best.
I know you will never be a fog whisperer because of this but I wish you well and hope you gain at least 50% of your community back, it was a safe space for me even as a lurker and am glad you took it upon yourself to give us this detailed apology, will be digesting it for a few days before I get back fully into your community as you hurt me and my fellow friends. Thank you Jane.
Fog Whisperer is not the priority if I cannot do a good job for the community I want to represent. I'm gonna work on the most important things before aiming at these titles: making my community safer, without forgetting I need to feel well to be able to make it happen. It's what I'm working on during this Summer.

I don't use Twitter so I don't know the full extent of what went down but this is a very mature response. I can see how you've grown as a person and a creator. Also as a person who has a lot of experience with narcissists I don't get that from you. Obviously you struggle with mental health issues but I don't think NPD is one of them.

This drama is so terminally online I can't even. You made a mistake and unfortunately doubled down on it at the time. Clearly the daily harassment has been taking a toll on your mental health. Half the time people gaslight you when they get their little transphobic digs in, it's not hard to see why you reacted that way to what that person said, even if it was wrong. I don't get the over the top reaction by the DBD community, not to be shady, but your following is still relatively small and the damage of your actions is pretty limited because of that.
So I'm immediately questioning why everyone is so up in arms. Like call you out? Sure. You can be better than that, but people are acting like you need to quit and that's a lot. Like I can't fault you for writing off their criticism as transphobia for a while cause I'm tempted to do much the same, for at least a portion of it. Scheduled breaks might be a good idea in the future so you aren't taking on more than you can handle. I hope things get better.
Thank you for this comment, it truly means a lot. The only thing I can do is working on what I can control: so my mental health, my community and what possibly I can still do good for the DbD Community and of gaming in general.

trust me you don't really wanna know. its bad vibes, all Jane is trying to do is to move on and accept what they did was bad. please give them the respect and don't ask what happened.
I researched some things and apparently Jane had some beef with people on twitter where she gaslight and manipulated people in DMS or at least tried to .Leaked DMs come out of Jane doing these things. People say that she calls anyone transphobic when they disagree with her. Also rallied her supporters to attack other people. Thats what i got so far from twitter posts
