Earlier you were a part of firqa now you are part of another firqa.....you've made no difference...like every other sects you also believe being a student of of Engineer Ali Mirza is the only true way of Islam.........and you only have the gauranteed path to jannah.......like every other sects you blindly follow your ustad.........Literally you have made no difference except comforting your ownself....like every other sect.......

I have an immense respect for Dear Ali bhai as well as dear sahil bhai, but in my humble opinion I would side on sahil adeem bhais side in this particular case bcoz if Our Syed Rasoolullah SAW found it unacceptable for people to stand for him, then definitely no body has izzah more than our Syed that we may stand for him and i can also say that, isn't then it incumbent upon us to dislike what Rasool SAW disliked. I think the only one Almighty Allah deserves our standing in front of him.

Although the stance of sahil adheem is extreme but we know what he was trying to preach and the physcology of standing up in respect for servants of God creates inside human. The rudeness of emam is not justified at all regarding this man. He is on another level and he is reviving true concept of religion.
Exactly, this is what I am thinking. I respect both personalities, but what I observe in Emam is that his personality becomes extreme at some points when giving his opinion about someone. This is problematic, as it conveys a very wrong message. It is important to express opinions respectfully and constructively, and not resort to rudeness or hostility.

Al-Hasan did not mention gravity, calm deportment, pleasant disposition - than Fatimah, may Allah honour her face. When she came to visit him (the Prophetﷺ) he got up to (welcome) her, took her by the hand, kissed her and made her sit where he was sitting; and when he went to visit her, she got up to (welcome) him, took him by the hand, kissed him, and made him sit where she was sitting.

this is simple stand up for someone you respect and love but if the other person wants you to stand up it's prohibited as this would imply that the other guy thinks he is better than you and deserve respect. but if you are standing out of respect and he doesn't want you to stand up, you shouldn't standup.

It's not haram to stand for some person but there are numerous Ahadith which are against this act & only two occasion are found one which support standing for Hazrat Fatima (as) & 2nd is for Saad ibn e abi waqas (as)

I think the perspective of Sahil Adeem was that when a kid or any person stands up for another human being but not for Allah s.w.t e.g At the time of azan then the impact his subconscious mind gets is that he starts having more respect for the other entity.
It might not be haram as Ali bhai has clarified but imagine a child who is forced every time to stand up for national anthem but never in his life he has been asked to stand up for the azan sometimes we don't even turn off the music when azan is being given but I am yet to see people listening to music when national anthems are being played now what would seem more important to the child ? Try to understand Sahil Adeem,s perspective too.
