Humans are prone to faults and mistakes, it's in the nature of humans to sometimes fall. Just because he was a learned individual, it didn't make him perfect or separate him from the fundamentals of what psychologically makes up a human. What happens after is the most important. @@formetoknow540 At the end of the day, there's no difference between roadmen and a learned individual in terms of their mind. Everyone makes mistakes. It was clear that this was a structured attack on Imam Asad. The difference between a roadman and a learned individual such as Imam Asad, is that the roadman won't learn from his mistakes and repent, whereas learned individuals would take heed of what they did and Inshallah repent. The matter concerning whether he repented or not, is a matter between himself and Allah (S.W.T). We should always assume the best for our brothers.
