You're probably familiar with House music, a genre of electronic dance music characterized by a repetitive four-on-the-floor beat. It was created by DJS and music producers from Chicago's underground club culture and evolved slowly in the early/mid 1980s.
We met with Renee Melendez, a producer, DJ and music curator for Quantize Records in Baltimore who spoke about what House means to her and she incorporates it in her set.
