So no kidding, BEST video training EVER! I was at the range practice driver today, and started strong but slipped into my typical slice/hook all over the map routine after 5 balls...same story for 5 years! Remembered seeing thus video clip, so stopped and watched the whole thing in the middle of my bucket. 10 minutes later, i hit 30 straight drives right down the gut! Even changed the angle off the mat for each of the last 6, and literally could not miss! Todd, your training is fantastic!!

I tried your single swing method last week with some success. I was hitting short irons to the right until I found this video. Just came back from the range and all u can say is wow! Just wow! By pointing the club grip to my left hip at set up made all the difference. All I needed to do was turn. I was hitting my pitching wedge approximately 115 yards with a very nice sounding click noise at contact. I have tried several swing methods through the years and no doubt this us the most consistent and body friendly swing I gave ever tried. I will be swinging like this as long as I can.

This is by far the most detailed explanation of the "proper" swing I've ever watched! I've been through hours of your teaching, but his "rang" a bell for me. The other videos were hard to determine what position the ball distance from the feet was being exhibited. This "full" view from your prospective over the ball with feet, arms, club head and takeaway are GOLD. Thank you for your hard work. Question: do you accept students in the 13 year old age group? If so, I'd like to send one of my Grand kids to you, is there a problem with him being left handed?

*(Trail hand) the small pad at the bottom of the index finger should face the target.

Off a tee or on a poor lie it didn't matter...although I found hitting my Hybrid Launcher very hard as it requires a more sweeping action and less drag along the surface. Still working out the kinks and hopefully splash some greens this sunday. Thanks Todd for picking up Moe's Torch!

For anyone trying out at home I found the Grip, Shoulder position and Ball position slightly towards the heel to be the most crucial elements to introduce into you're current swing before making a full transition. I also found this method to not be as productive in the short game..could be lack of practice...but I found this swing lacks feel and weight within 10-20 yards.

  • @Silenced_by_nazi_youtube

I'm a very mental player.....even something as simple as to how the club looks in accordance to the ball at address is big enough to determine whether I hit the ball and make contact or if I just completely lose my focus and top or chunk the ball.

    Ive got 3 questions.
    1. I have the ABT Trainer. Besides lead foot flare and stance width , should my feet be square with all clubs. Or starting with 6, 5i do i start to drop my right foot back as clubs get longer?
    2. Do you try to hit the inside of the ball or swing down target line?
    3. On the downswing do you pull with left arm or push with right or both?

Todd fantastic video. My référence now.
2 Quick questions to undertand :
    - ball in the Heel of the face : is it because we’re swinguing in an arc motion ? It’s a little disturbing. So that the alignment of shoulders and blades.
    - all this can be applied for irons (including ball to the heel) ?
Thanks a lot TODD your videos are a treasure. Rico

Trying my best to make all this work but struggling to do so with any consistency. When it all comes together it’s great but quite difficult to do swing after swing at this point. This video was well done, however, and hopefully will help. Thanks.

Len great to hear you’re having some success with it. As far as getting consistent, trying to make swing changes without feedback or coaching can present challenges with feel vs. real (what you feel like you’re doing versus what you’re actually doing). That’s what our online coaching is built to achieve for you-the guarantee that you are getting the Single Plane address position perfect and training the swing correctly. See how our coaches can help you at this site members.singleplaneacademy.com/gold-start-here/
Also, if you’d like to get more information, we’re hosting a free webinar June 12th about the formula for success with the Single Plane Swing. You can register to watch that virtual event here moegolf.co/formulaforsuccess

Do you have a video on irons set-up, etc? I don't generally use a driver. My irons are +7" (I'm 6'6") and I can hit a 5 iron far enough and more accurately than a driver on the short courses that I play here in Los Angeles (public, LA county courses). For irons, is the butt end of the club at address forward of the ball, or even with it, as with driver? I bought the book, very cool! Thanks...

I’ve been practicing the single plain swing for a couple of weeks. It’s been trying but making progress. I wished someone would teach this locally.

i like it. Very comprehensive. Occasionally, my left side has taken over the down swing and not waited for the right side to turn causing me to create a savage hook (if that make sense). How can i prevent this.

I cannot fully straighten my lead arm due to an elbow injury when i was younger, is there anything i can do to still be able to implement the single plane setup? This swing makes total sense to me but can i do it with this problem?

I don’t know if this is correct but it looks like you trail hand is pointing towards the ball and the lead hand towards the starting point.

Question: The visual of the left foot being between the arms at address, would this be the same visual if you were address with a, say, 7 iron? Or with the ball slightly further back do you lose that visual?

I'm terribly confused with whether or not the blade is square at address or not as I've seen conflicting videos. My original understanding was that the blade was square but just looked open as you were already 1ft into your backswing. However there was a conflicting video where Todd got a ruler out and showed even in the backswing it was dead square to the ball?! Can you please clarify what is actually happening as I've seen other comments too regarding this and I think a lot of us are getting confused!. As always really appreciate the content and support you guys give! Many Thanks. Tim

When I first tried the natural golf techniques the palm grip caused me to abandon the teaching because the palm grip made my arm swing so stiff I lost a lot of distance. If only I had known what you have explained in this video, who knows , maybe I could have used some of the teachings to be a more consistent ball striker.
