It's a spill over in ground pool attached to the spa.

Can you tie an heater and a heat pump together but have an valve to separate them
Yes, you can have a heat pump and gas heater plumbed into the same system. The setups I've seen containing both usually have a two-bypass system, so you can select to run either one independently, together, or bypass both.

I OWN A SWIMMING POOL WITH A SINGLE FILTER , I REMOVED UPPER FILTER COVER, NOW I HAVE THIS PLASTIC CAP ON TOP DOESNT TURN TO OPEN HOW DO I GET THE FILTER CARTAGE UNLOCKED SO I CA REMOVE AN CLEAN FILTER?
Still having a problem I'm a service tech for a pool company
I have seen a lot of gas heaters failing in my area that are only 3 years old or so. Would not surprise me if the builders are using cheaper copper style on salt pools. It is Florida and everything is about cheap especially the labor even when it comes to supposedly up scaled new homes.
