All those new Speed Champions at $20 is a good deal now because they will all go up to $30 in September when Lego increases their prices across all sets. I'm still fairly new to Lego and don't know how much Speed Champion sets have been discounted in the past.
That was some sale. They were smart to not group things together, it makes people walk the entire warehouse to see everything, and they may sell more that way. I was disappointed you didn't get the Duplo Mickey Birthday Train.
I've had the same look from my wive when I bring Lego home. Ever think of building a batcave into the mountain area, have a secret entrance for the batmobile and hinges open up part of the mountain to reveal the Batcave. It's my dream to add to our ever growing Christmas display we build ever year.
I’ve enjoyed buying a couple of random not my normal themes recently. The friends dots art studio is just one example. Really enjoyable build and brings together 2 themes. The iron man mega build from those 3 sets is definitely worth doing. It looks pretty cool! We just completed that. Good haul! Would have been interesting to see what you saved overall.

I would have expected discounts of 40-50%. A 20% discount is a typical daily retail discount these days and I would only buy AMAZING sets at 20% off. Wallet fatigue, inflation, recession, over supply. Expect 40-50% discounts to be common very soon (even before Black Friday).
These discounts seems pretty standard for us in the UK. 20% off isn't something Id go mad over. I guess Canada doesn't have as good retailers for good clearance deals. Nice haul anyway 👍
That is one nice haul. I just got 2 of my last most wanted sets ever today and so I am really happy. One was set 10254 holiday train from 2016 that one was not complete the train platform was missing like 10 pieces and the figures were not included but the seller had specified that the figs were not included originally before I bought it so I am ok with it. I do however plan to piece together the platform in the future. The other set I got was set 10259 the 2017 winter village train station set from the same seller and that set is in original packaging still just no box. Pretty great day for me. Glad to finally have a steam train in my lego collection.
