Nikola Jokic tallied the 18th triple double of his season with 32 points, 16 rebounds, and 16 assists as the Nuggets defeated the Warriors, 119-103. Jamal Murray (27 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists) and Aaron Gordon (17 points, 6 rebounds) totaled 44 points. Klay Thompson (23 points) and Stephen Curry (20 points) led Golden State in the loss. The Nuggets win their third straight game to improve to 39-19 as the Warriors move to 29-27.
Tonight marks the third game of Jokic’s career where he has totaled 30+ PTS, 15+ AST, and 15+ REB, passing Wilt Chamberlain (2) and trailing Oscar Robertson (11) for second-most such games all-time.
Tonight’s triple double for Nikola Jokic marks his third consecutive such game. It’s the seventh such occurrence of his career where he has totaled three straight TRDBs. He passes Wilt Chamberlain for third-most such streaks since tracking began:

Dray too small for Jokic. Joker is a complete offensive player. He can post, shoot, operate a pick and roll, hookshot, soft touch around the rim, initiate a fast break, can dissect a defense.
It's not that Dray is too small for him (which he definitely is), but even if Jokic was matched up to a player of similar size OR BIGGER, he would still dominate.

Fitting that Jokic and the Nuggets swept the season series v the once dynastic Warriors because they've learned so much from them. Nuggets offense about the beautiful movement and passing just like the Warriors. Jokic and AG and Murray have become better offensive players because of many duels with the Warriors brilliant defensive schemes and especially Draymond's challenges. Nice to see champions learn from champions.

If you're going to build a team around either Jokic or Embiid, I'd be choosing Jokic all day, everyday! Because with Jokic, defenses have to basically pay attention to him from baseline to baseline. He's a threat everywhere on the court. Plus, all his teammates get to eat since he's such a terrific and unselfish superstar.
Definitely. Joel is a great player but Jokic passing and court vision on another level. Also, Jokic is clutch in big games and doesn't seem to get hurt as much as Joel.
