Nice job Mike. That's what you do you experiment. It's how you learn and find out what you like and don't like. Personally I hardly ever use linseed oil unless I really have to. That smell just gets to me. Have a great weekend! ps sometimes it's hard to get the stains to cover where the store stickers were in case you ever run into that buying old handles from sales. Just gotta work it more.
