I am 60 yrs old and my husband is 63 yrs old and we love your channel. It reminds us of when we were raising our family - the good the bad and the ugly. When we were raising our kids we had a difficult time with our son and we really felt like we couldn’t tell anyone. My husband and son were not getting along AT ALL. Thanks God we found a black woman counselor who was also a Christian. She got us on the right track and we found out the problem wasn’t him it was US. He is now an adult and we have a great relationship with him. Oh how I wish that we had this type of content to watch and a community that shares child rearing struggles and victories. Not everyone can afford counseling and your content can help so many parents. You know when you are in Gods plan for you based on your circumstances. And right now the push back tells me that you are right where you need to be. The Devil only bothers those who are making strides for the Kingdom. Keep doing what you are called to do and God will take care of the rest. God Bless!

I unfortunately didn't grow up with a father's love and I remember crying on father's day when I was a little girl. I appreciate and love that you share what a present black father looks like. You're not afraid to admit your errors and correct them. You're not afraid to tell your children how much you love them. @Aisha Simmons, right!!! Me and my siblings were actually called "The Huxtables" as an insult from other kids because we went to private schools and had 2 parent household. Were told, "y'all the only ones live like that".......I refused to believe THEM and all the naysayers because I was fortunate enough to grow up with a family like he is showing. Maybe if more people see it, then they can see for themselves that real love IS possible

You keep God and Christ in everything you do and your faith is shown in every decision you two have made including ASKING you children’s permission to film their lives. The Only way to change historical trasmited trauma is to change the narrative and do something different. I follow you because you show people an alternative way of looking at things and an alternative way of being with your children. From learning how to do your daughter's hair to trying to find a way to motivate your middle son. Thank you!
Beleaf, I'm an older, single African-American woman and I need and absolutely appreciate you and your family sharing your lives with us. Your videos encourage me, give me hope and challenge my thinking and how I show up to the world. Also, the video you shared where you and Yvette talked to Uriah and Theo about racism has been so impactful. Some friends of mine who are parents used the information that was shared to talk to their kids. I did some Anti-Black Implicit Racial Bias training in a dietetic internship program to help future healthcare professionals understand the importance of cultural humility and cultural competence. The video was very effective in building understanding and empathy. And the last thing I will say is, if you all hadn't shared, I wouldn't know my boyfriend/ my love - Uziah- exists. For that I am so grateful! 🙂 Thank you for encouraging others to authentically share their lives as well
Tank talked about this. He said he would love to sing a song about a black man being the best husband and father, but he didn't have the luxury. I need this content. I've had days during this pandemic where it has helped me carry on. Sometimes I Just play Anaya's birthday video's and it takes me back to my mom's homemade cake. Mom and dad are gone. I see them sometimes when I'm watching. Not everyone is called to your voice, but for those of us like me who are, I'm telling the naysayers- KICK ROCKS AND GO FIND YOUR OWN TRIBE. .... I appreciate you sharing your moments with your family. I'm not a black woman, but I am a woman of color and I didn't grow up with this kind of love. My family and I love each other, but it's not shown in these ways and watching you guys does some healing to my inner child. I'm happy to know your family is happy, healthy, safe, secure, and loved. I personally say, Thank you for your ministry Mr. Beleaf because I'm 23 and I grew up in a home where there was no kissing, no hugging... tension, arguments, pride. We laughed a lot together and had good times but I never got that loving father and husband view until I met a local pastor who exemplifies it to his wife and kids, and also until I watched your channel. That’s why I fell in love with this channel cuz it was so real. All the other vlogging families were so fabricated it was uncomfortable. Remember that, Glenn. Continue to keep it real. Don’t fall into the fad or fabrications. Keep it real for us because that’s the best you could be for us fans. I’m 22, but when I started watching this channel when I was 16 I really feel like it was preparing me to parent in a way I never experienced. So know that there are several out there who get what you’re trying to do. And keep doing it.

Glenn I'm an older white lady who came from a rough background. So I still have to be mindful of certain things that I've healed from and to re learn how to evaluate circumstances. I never felt like you pushed your kids or monetized them at all. Ive often. said how blessed your children are to have you and Yvette as parents. I love your channel! I am 55 and was unable to have children and I'm ok with that I think because I have so many nieces and nephews. But I still love your family dynamics and while I don't watch many family channels yours is amazing.

I am the youngest of six and I grew up with a lot of love from my parents, who were married over 60 years. So, it's great to see young black couples who love one another and are raising beautiful black children.

I enjoy seeing true black love! You love and encourage your beautiful black wife which creates a nurturing environment where your children can grow up with a positive esteem for themselves and our culture. This content is SO needed to counter the negativity that floods our media 24/7.
Glen, I am so impressed by you and your mind and the way you think and the way you do what you do. You didn't have to get on here and tell us any of this but you did. As a fellow Creative I too am so glad that I'm seeing actual black people who are in love, who love their children and that we're not seeing the same old stories...the negative stories that have depicted in the movies which makes us think that black people cannot get along. In fact I am offended by all of that other stuff. I did not grow up on drugs, I did not sell drugs neither did my sisters and my brothers. I had a Father that was home who treated us as young ladies and brought us Valentines on Valentine's Day ( he has five girls.) I had a daddy that got up at 5:30 every morning to go to work there was not one day that he called out. He was construction worker and a stone mason he helped to build up a lot of New York City. He used to drive us around and show us the buildings that he worked on. He was inventive. We laugh because it was so many things that he would create that would solve problems in the house that now that he is gone on to glory at the wonderful age of 91, we miss him everyday. Not one of us became pregnant as teenagers and had to run away from home and become hookers and become strippers (not to throw stones on anybody else's lifestyle because hey people do what you want to do!). I still have a mother who is beautiful and conducted herself as a lady her entire life and has passed that way onto us. All of us are professionals in my family. Everyone else has gotten a degree. But these stories that the film industry wants to portray about black people, they are not real. I used to say if we lived that lifestyle in every neighborhood they wouldn't even be any more black people left we would have killed each other, we would never see anybody that is actually black anymore.
But those stories were not my story. And Glen I'm here, raising my hand saying, Glenn show me how to do it. I am of a certain age and I am a person that is not typical, I think, to a lot of the other stories that people hear. I'm so interested in seeing the ends the outs the ups the downs but no matter what THE TOGETHERNESS of black people. These otherwho ask these questions are so negative. They just don't want to believe there is something here because maybe they didn't experience it so they throw mud at you. They're so cynical when there's no reason. Also, I like looking at children that are children. How about that? I love listening to them and seeing how their minds work.
That's why I work so much with kids. They are inspiring. They release serotonin in our minds when we see them just being them( at least they do to me). They give me pleasure. I am seriously invested in this channel and them. I feel that by you sharing your lifestyle with them and them being so gracious to allow us to look in, they gave us the gift of seeing them grow. Some of us will not be able to have children and sometimes that hurts. But we feel like extended aunties and uncles when we look at them. Each of your children are so beautiful inside and out. I thank you and Yvette and the children for allowing us to visit. When I see a notification that you're on I quickly click on because I want to see my extended family. GOD BLESS YOU

I’m single black in my thirties and each video for me is a masterclass on the future I will someday hold. And this is preparing me for that season.

I love that you show so many what being a father should be.
