I had to quit college after my mom passed away because i had to pay the bills . All my friends graduated and got their degrees while i was working intern jobs for companies . I felt like i was missing out and being left behind until a couple years ago when our top student asked me to solve her interview problem and i was like this is joke . Really ? ... then i realized how much i have advanced in those years . .. how much i learned and made a lot of money supporting my family . So yeah collage is not the only way . If you like programming and for any reason can't afford the time or money just go show yourself to companies and help them out and learn from them .

I found group projects in college significantly less enjoyable than in the real world even when team members are adults in college.

Masters in DS plus Grad Certificate in Applied Stats. What can I expect in the job market?
On a separate though related note, my dream is to be a digital nomad and live out of a suitcase. For work, I want to mine data and deploy ML models remotely. Am I off my rocker, or is it actually somewhat realistic?
