Bills, Marquez Valdes-Scantling reportedly agree to one-year deal | Pro Football Talk | NFL on NBC

Wide receiver room built like a basketball team. Little bit of this lil bit of that. They'll be better than we think
Absolutely spot on comment..yes!!
Crazy to me ppl think that we won’t do nun I sit back and laugh and look at the depth chart lol
Definitely a better set of weapons for 17 this season. Hope the OL holds up. Was a big fan of Mitch Morse. Very consistent performer and great relationship with 17. Hope McGoven can do a job at centre. Pleased we’ve drafted well in that all important position.
Agreed. Mitch Morris is a major loss.
Morse was fantastic but we have a very solid o-line for once, they really built a monster unit. If we can maintain continuity, ...look out!
There is no way this is “definitely a better set of weapons”. It’s not even close.
@@HatrickEwing I'd argue that in the old Bills offensive system, you might be right, ...but in a Kincaid focused spread offense you don't need a true WR1. So I'd argue back that even in the old system, Samuel, Shakir, and Coleman is better than Diggs and Davis, just sayin... 🤷
@@seanguitarman5594 extremely wishful thinking. It’s never as simple as “just throw to whoever’s open”…. It’s a match up league. Bills are severely undermanned in the passing game…. Josh will just have to shoulder the load and carry the offense yet again.
Bills got a whole new attack next season. Keon Coleman, Curtis Samuel, Kinard, MVS.
Very Interesting.
and add, Cook, Davis and Gore Jr if they dont stick him in PS. Josh has tons of weapons.... He will spread the ball around, lets not forget Kincaid and Knox, geez... lol. Light it up lol
Kinard, my favorite Bill!
@@scattau41lol. I was thinking that
It’s called 12 personnel 😈‼️
Super interesting! Especially since Kinard isn’t on the team!
"falling down" Explains pretty much every MVS catch.
As a group, it's the best josh Allen has had in Buffalo
You’re probably right!
John Brown
Stefon Diggs
Cole Beasley
@@scattau41 Brown wasn't great - fast but always broken. Beasly was a good safety valve.
🤣🤣
@@scattau41 Eh, it's close but Brown was not that great (and was in the end of career)
It's an interesting signing. Buffalo seems to be creating one heck of a toolbox. Coleman is raw in some places, but can catch anything Allen puts in his post code. Samuel and MVS take the top off the defenses. Shakir and Kincaid show a lot of promise to break open the middle game. And Claypool is an upper tier talent that hasn't gotten his head in the game now on a team thats all about responsibility. Add in James Cook toting the rock and Frank Gore Jr as an interesting 2 back. The concern is if the newly patched up OL can hold up as well as the old one did.
This probably isn't the best offense Josh Allen has had around him, but it's certainly the deepest and most potential. There's no singular goy like Diggs that can just win when demanded, but there's a lot more options to look to that all have decent ability to flash. If Shakir, Coleman and Kincaid come together this year as they are expected to, this could be one of the more dangerous offenses out there
Davis #2 , We're hoping Gore makes the cut.
What do you mean newly patched up OL? Do you mean aged Mitch Morse and his loss? They will be fine with the players who were brought in place of him.
@@OceanMetTheSky we have seen this in the past with other Bills Ols. How much impact is the C having on the performance of the OGs. There were OGs in the past that fell apart when Eric Wood left. Morse is the one communicating adjustments. Was Morse boosting McGovern or the rookie torrence? Do either take a step back with a less talented, less experienced replacement? Is the communication going to take a hit? You don't know
@@JKSSubstandard Sounds like a bunch of paranoia. Even if Morses leadership is missed initially, there is enough signed talent to more than make up for him and to grow. Mitch Morse was aged and slowing down tremendously. McGovern and Torrance were both tremendous in what they can do before being on the Bills. Spencer Brown grew a lot last year and Dion was one of the best. Sedrick Van Pran is going to be great
@@johnbarth684People are really talking Gore up like he has a realistic shot at making the 53 man. They'll only roster 3 and those guys are pretty much set in stone. He's a solid PS option though.
It's about time a team signed Marquis Valdez-Scantling now show them why your an back to back champion
The genius of this..Bills will have aggressive..receivers .fighting for JOSH..and the ball ..
Damn dude, with MVS they're up to like 6 to 8 jump-ball 50/50 guys! 8 if you want to include the TE's. Here's the WR room by height and 40 time alone:
6'0 , (4.45) - K.S
5'11 , (4.30) - C.S
6'3 , (4.53) - K.C
6'4 , (4.37) - MVS
6'4 , (4.40) - M.H
6'4 , (4.40) - C.C
So yes, finally a terrific blend of size and speed and talent. Awesome job Beane and Co.!!!
@@seanguitarman5594 NFL MONSTERS. LEAD BY JOSH ALLEN .THE ..NFL MONSTER.
Love all these sites saying the Bills WRs almost worst in the NFL. Keep thinking that - Then they'll be backtracking. May not be the best, but it's looking darn good to me. Can't wait. Beane as usual has did a gret job. He's the man.
Bills certainly have depth now
Brand new team. Excited to see what happens!
The guys name u couldn't remember ?¿ .... Diggs !!! Upe . There It Is !! Didn't take long to forget (him) , eh !? 😂😅
danm, mvs was so unlucky with the qbs he had.... aarod, mahomes now allen.
Forgot claypool
I agree. He's a bad apple.
I really think that Allen will have a weight lifted off his shoulders not having to worry about force feeding Diggs. And it’s clear they’re gonna run the ball more so it will be less pressure on him overall
Have fun with that.
Will he avoid the injury bug?
Forgot about claypool
I hope all the critics sleep on the Bills this year. I can't wait for all of them to eat humble pie at the end of the season. This is big variety of weapons for Josh this year.
I’m so excited for Josh Allen! Let’s go Buffalo 🦬 💪🏾.
You forgot Cephus
All bills fans do including Josh Allen jocksniffer Simms does is say how great their weapons are until it's convenient to say how Allen needs more help and doesn't have anything around him
Lmao haters gonna hate
Wait so....bills gave up a draft to the chiefs so they can sign possible one of the best WR coming out of college and then the bills sign MVS a WR the chiefs didnt want anymore ...someone on the bills management is a undercover chiefs fan
Mvs is so bad 😂
Bills going with the last season Chiefs route - no big names, bunch of role players and hopefully JA17 can make them work.
Yep. You see it too.
4.37
Not even Los Angeles wanted him. Bills taking all the leftover WRs. They’re schemin something. Hamler Claypool and now MVS
Or he picked buffalo over la
@@jd229he has more competition for snaps in Buffalo.
@@szn1580 and a better chance at another SB. He is pretty much a roster lock in buffalo. Def will compete for targets though you are right about that.
I'm sure he would rather be in Orchard Park then Folton County
they really just need one of them to hit. Kind of interesting.
If nothing else the bills will have some freaks in training camp
Mvs is not a freak. He’s fast but he doesn’t track the ball well, drops passes and runs routes terribly and doesn’t get separation on any routes other than go routes
@@nopeteys2424 bro he's a freak, he's 6' 4" 210 and runs 4.3 I agree with everything you said about his play, physically tho he's a specimen.
@nopeteys2424 he's like the number 4 receiver at best, what is your point? He's not a primary WR, so your point makes no sense
@@cannafarmer also his drop rate is lower than gabe davis was so....
@@jd229he probably ran a 4.3 a couple years ago, probably a mid 4.4 guy now, he’s 30
Awesome sign. Deep threat. Midrange pretty good. Allen might finally get talent around him.
Can Leslie coach this team? ❤❤
Finally? Diggs was a borderline top 5 receiver before last season.
Very sneakily great group I’m exited
Shakir is the #1
Oh yea can’t wait for MVS to drop a TD pass 🤣 sure thing bub 👍🏻 you’ll be missing Diggs
Diggs dropped a ton of balls, and completely disappeared in big games. When the Bills went on a run to win 6 straight at the end of the season, Diggs was invisible almost every game.
Do y'all like 'Khalil Shakira' for a fantasy team name? lol
Bills got bum bum bum bum bum lol 😂
Wait sooo he’s a liability when he’s apart of the Chiefs but now he’s this HUGE weapon and acquisition when he’s on the biLLs. Quit the riding pft lol
He fills a need that the Bills had. Not sure what you are on about. MVS is a solid role player; not our fault Chiefs media and fans crucified him.
He stepped up in the postseason when it counted. Low risk potentially high reward signing.
Y’all sleeping on Justin shorter
I’d love to see something from him this year.
People keep trying to make him into something he's not. He's not going to make the team even if they keep 6 guys at WR.
How do you forget Chase Claypool?
Ooh, sre they not confident in Keon?
They are. Keon will be WR behind Shakir and Samuel imo
He’s not gonna be a deep threat and win on the outside
Beane always brings in as much competition as feasible.
They needed another outside WR
BB always bring rooks along slowly
Bills collecting former Chiefs players hoping to learn how to win in the clutch.
They had a need and MVS filled that need on a budget
As if...collecting?? Since when is a player a collection?? Do they have two tops. Just stop..what stopped Buffalo the past two seasons was a ton of key defensive injuries
Maybe they could teach them how to get every advantageous call from the refs like the Chiefs get.
Aside from Samuel and the rookie, I have no idea what the hell the bills are thinking. MVS is trash, Claypool is trash, and Mac Hollins? I don't understand
You have no idea what they are thinking because you have no clue how to think the way they are thinking
Don’t forget they added Chase Claypool. He’s known for being a diva not dropping passes
Bottom of the barrel player 🤦♂️
MVS is trash
Love beanes work
He sucks
