Rain, or 비 "Bi", is probably the most popular artist that ever existed in Korea. He was popular in the 2000s and ask anyone in korea who he is and they will know. My 50 year old Korean engineering professor is a huge fan lol!
He has inspired many artists, and is actually the reason why Shownu decided to become an idol. Shownu actually was a competitive swimmer, and seriously pursuing that until he saw Rain, and decided to learn to dance and sing like him!
Rainism is a very popular song of Rain's, and that's why many groups know the dance, and do covers!
Shownu, Hyungwon and Jooheon on "After mom goes to sleep" it's really funny and short

i'm really sorry because my english is not good but i will try kksjdkjj i think the thing you said about monsta x and bts was the sorry sorry choreo, basically monsta x created a choreo for the dance break in sorry sorry and mbc stole and gave to other groups like twice gfriend and bts
when monsta x recognized their work was copied they asked mbc just to be given the excuse "because it looked cool"

@@aimeesworldd Yeah this was actually a low point for Wonho because he felt like he couldn't talk much for a while after he exposed them. Like he blamed himself if they got punished for it sort of thing, so there will be a few times you see him be more quiet in older broadcasts etc. He got over it in time but it was a little heartbreaking :/
But I mean, Wonho bb I would've done it too had a broadcasting network stolen my choreo and given it to other groups with NO citation haha. It got drama filled because some of the more "extreme" ARMY decided that they didn't care because "lol who is Monsta X?" when Monsta X wasn't attacking BTS for the choreo they were frustrated with MBC for stealing it. Like Kihyun and Suga go way back, people need to chill haha :)
