I hope soon someone makes e scooter with only rear hub motor but it's like really powerful motor so i can do wheelies and stuff like that. Yeah i know you can do that stuff on like dualtrons but i don't really want the second motor cus it's extra weight that I don't need.

Trials are set up now until mid 2024, so it is likely that there will be no new laws until 2025 tbh. I think This will be keep on being put to the side.

My "personal" view as to why the UK GOV is dragging its feet and delaying the inevitable, is that certain people may be taking back handers from the hire companies. The longer the hire companies retain the ONLY legal route to owning and using an e-scooter on UK roads, the more they smile all the way to the bank. Like I said, just a "personal" opinion!

Ellis I already have a kia soul ev 2021 and am loving it but, want a last mile mod of transport to fit in the boot. A e-scooter would be prefect but is not legal so am looking into the folding e-bikes instead.
