- We now have the motor in the car and turning tires. Was a lot of mucking around to get things to work the way we wanted, but with the help from@thomasbovalina we managed to get it all in the car and running in around a week.
Great to see the ' Old- Girl ' running so sweet. Had a 1970 Monte Carlo with the stock 305 and only a few bolt on parts. The thing I loved most was putting a B&M shift kit in it . I was not posi like yours, but would squat
Dude, your video was awesome!
Man that sounds good . Also good on you for being sympathetic to your neighbours . Enjoy that ride .
It's fun working on these legends, Soooo good to see them all on our roads
Good to see young men playing with old school machines love it
Great work man, well done. Nothing beats an Aussie HQ 👌
Awesome work mate and so good to see her running, great build!
Great work mate. One tip, if you are going to hide your number plate in the vid you need to do it every time. There are eyes out there. Enjoy. Good to know there are young fellas out there still working on this stuff.
Nice mate awesome ute
Great looking Ute. 👌 Love your work.
Good on ya boys, great achievement! Good to see some young blokes having a go.
Love a HQ I had one in the 90s till a granny in HK t boned it parked outside my home and wrote it off...I loved that car only 20000 miles on it when I got it with sanden underdash AC too...
Got a mate down here in Tassie with one of these….. dart block, a turbo you can stick your fist into, 1000+ bhp, all the bells and whistles…. Goes like shit off a chrome shovel …. Nice one you have here too…….👍👍👍
Great car. Just wanted to warn you about buying and using super cheap parts from China . I am not talking about Taiwanese parts which I've used without regretting it on my little 2T scooters. Got cheap 68 something cc cylinder from China and it blew up with a flaming " bang! " on a routine ride home from work. Even small things that are cheap can ruin your life. Bought a 1970 Oldmobile Cutlass with a new father and son rebuilt 350 and on a drive from Florida to California the soft aluminum timing gear's soft teeth wore out as I was cresting a hill in Lac Cruces, New Mexico watching a desert sunset thinking about a big beefy enchilada and rice and a few cold beers. It just stopped moving. In about 2 hours the Border Control officer; Joe a fellow surfer who had been to Costa Rica and Baja and like me wanted to go to Australia to surf drove me to the nearest mechanic- servo ( a Shell I think it was ) and recommended that I keep trying to get to Australia to surf and he'd see me there. Cheers!
Good work Joe
