Have you read the Atlas Six? Who is your favorite character?

I was going to start this one soon, but I might wait until the fall because that’s my favorite time to read dark academia!!

I honestly might do a reread in the Fall!! 😅 (definitely wish I had waited)

This book was not for me, I DNFed about 40% in. I read the indie version though. There was just wayyyy too much bickering for me. That being said…I think the adaptation could be amazing, and I’m really looking forward to it.
Also, I started Savage Lands the other night because of you, I’m 75% in and totally hooked! I thought this was a YA story for some reason, so I kept putting it off. If it is YA it certainly doesn’t feel like it. But thanks for the recommendation!! ❤️

Yay!!! I’m so happy you liked Savage Lands!! I’m pretty sure it’s New Adult! I’ve only read the first two books in the series but plan on picking the third book up in April!

I love this book and review! The characters especially in my opinion are so well written and developed and feel alive. I’m so excited for the second book.

Characters well developed ? I did think they were very one dimentional. And there was hardly anything of a plot. I don't get the hype.

Nice! I didn’t know anything about this book and what a pity!! It seems to be really interesting! I’m not used to reading history books or articles, but now I get the bug for it. Alexandrian society may be more fascinating than I thought when I was a student. Also, what I like the most when reading a book is the development of the characters, and you even you say in 1:52 it’s a character-driven story . In this case, as they are competing, I’m sure I’m gonna love their ambition and willing to win. However, the fact that it’s slow-paced has put me off, but I’m definitely giving it a try. Regarding the plot, if the book is about physics, why do you say people into science might hate it? Finally, I would like to read first the audio version, do u know where can I find it? Thank u so much!

Sorry, for some reason this comment was held for review so I’m just seeing it now!
You can download the audio version from audible - or check w/ your local library (mine has been getting a lot of newer audio books recently)
Regarding what I said about science - I think that if you have a physics background you might find some issues w/ the magic system. Personally, I don’t know anything about physics (besides the basics) so I was willing to believe everything the characters were saying about time/space etc.
      Hope that helps!

I saw a few TikTok’s that went into detail about all the differences! For the most part it seems like the order of events changed and some of the characters backstories!
