45 Minute Upper Body and Core Barre Strength Workout | Low Impact | Barre Inspired

  • Grab a light set of dumbbells (3-5lbs) and a mat for this upper body and core barre inspired strength workout. Today's focus is strengthening the entire upper body and core! We are moving to approximately 130 bpm (dubbed music over what I'm listening to live) but you and I never HAVE to go at the same speed/tempo. You can go slower or faster, this is your workout! Just try to maintain great form throughout : )
    The format will go 45 seconds full range of motion with a controlled tempo followed by 15 seconds of pulses or a new exercise, 15 seconds full range of motion normal tempo, and will end with 15 seconds of pulses or new exercise. To simplify it, when the timer is green, that means full range of motion. When the timer is yellow that means pulses or new exercise. When the timer is red, that is typically rest/stretch,
    Before switching up the exercise there will be a demo in the upper left hand corner of your screen, and I give verbal cues throughout as well. This one is high volume with little recovery time, so if needed you can always lighten the resistance mid set, switch to BW only, and/or rest/pause. This one builds and burns. So meet me on your mat with and let’s get to work! 🤜❤️🤛

    I got a big pie of humble pie. Wow you wouldn't think 3lbs would do it but this Barre routine did it. My muscles were cursing up a storm but glad I did it. Thanks again.

    I've been working out "with you" since about February and have tried about 23 of your videos so far. I love them all but I must say this is probably my least favorite to date. That being said, I feel like it also is one of the most beneficial. Plus, the advice you gave during the Arnold presses about focus and not having a goal to get the heart rate higher but to really feel the muscles contract and release to improve endurance and athleticism is where it's at. "When we do that, that is when change starts to happen." Wow, I needed to hear that today. I do feel stronger. And I certainly feel all that core work we did! Thank you! and I look forward to more of this!

    Thanks for Doing more barre and long format!! Appreciate it lots!! Your workouts are awesome!! If you don’t mind, I would love you to continue cueing and counting a bit versus the music. Totally understand if you can’t. I just find it helpful when you’re talking versus just music. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
