Organise: make a felt basket

- Keep your office or living room nice and organised with these easy to make felt basket.
Make them any size you want, big ones for storing toys or clothes, medium sized ones to keep your desk clutter free or to use as bread baskets or dinky ones to use for your jewellery.
All you need is thick felt, at least 2mm but the thicker the better.

i know this video is quite old… but i would like to know if you need to change the needle on the sewing machine to a bigger one? or should the regular needle be fine? amazing video by the way!
Hi, Thanks. I just used a normal needle in my sewing machine and it worked out fine. You can also hand sew these with a slightly larger needle. Happy crafting!

Hi, I bought the thick felt years ago in a German fabric store called Altex, think they call it taschenfilz (bag felt)
What thickness felt are you using?
It needs to be very sturdy felt so at least 5mm thick
where did you buy your felt?
Hi, I got it in a fabric shop when I was at my parents. You can buy thick felt easily online though. I used a synthetic felt as its a lot cheaper.
