I dont know about this machine specifecally, but there are very similar machines designed to shred metal. They will shred an entire car, engine and all.

Waste of a lot of good lumber. A chainsaw lumber mill would have used it better. However, this is a very safe machine due to the slow operating speed. One of the fellows on our town grounds crew disappeared one day. The only culprit around was a massive high speed wood chipper. A typical cause of accidents is trying to push in a limb by hand. You can get sucked in so fast you don't have time to release your grip. No worries. Poured the wood chips in two graves. By the time the wife passes she can go in the same hole.
