- In this video series, I will cover hidden transmog appearances throughout World of Warcraft and how to get them. There will be more parts, and I am working on part 2 already as we (I?) speak. "Hidden" means they will not show up in your appearance journal, before you actually obtain the appearance.

Another tip I want to add for those grinding Warglaives of Azzinoth. CZcams/Google DH illidan skip. You can fly and hop across the chains after Baleroc. Skipping all bosses and going straight to Mother Shahraz. Enjoy guys and Good luck!

@@suronia1also the secret mount where you needed 5 people to solve a huge puzzle, do a dungeon get inside a secret zone inside that dungeon solve more puzzles and you got a 5 player mount....
absolutely. i'm so glad i started during legion and got at least the mage tower for my feral druid which is my main to this day. except for the class hall transmogs, everything was just really peak and the new tww raid class transmogs look promising so i hope to see more good stuff again!
Small note about the Warglaives of Azzinoth. While you CAN farm the blades on any class that can dual wield swords, you MUST obtain both the left and right blade on the same character. You'll know you've got it when you get the Feat of Strength "Warglaives of Azzinoth".

It needs to be on a class that can equip them too. You wont get the achievement unless your class can equip them
was just about to mention this, but to add even if u get 1 glaive on 1 charactar. keep running it on all characters. you could have bad rng like me and end up with 33 offhand glaives on 1 character lol

@@andreihlen7597I wouldn't say it'a useless to do this on multiple characters if 1 of the blades drops. Suddenly, 1 of the characters not having the blade gets it, and you increase your tries to get the archiviment anyways.
My first mythic Antorus run, I got the blue scythe and the pet... I used all of my luck and been suffering since then haha

@nickproulx7660 hate to break it to you bit don't support a liar. Mythic only drops the red. Heroic and normal drop blue. It ain a chance to drop red on mythic. That's all it drops.
Might be worth doing a video on "didn't used to be a transmog but now is so it's effectively a hidden gem" items, like the Lord Walden's Top Hat from the worgen starting area (FINALLY!!!), the ability for monks to transmog an item from the kun-lai summit that hides your mainhand and offhand weapons entirely, or more obscure white/grey items with unique appearances that are more complex than "just find a vendor in an early leveling zone/capital city".

i got Sorrowbane during Shadowlands, seemed easy enough to get, only took a couple tries. i am about to go hard on collecting soon, as i am in a comfy place in the game right now, just forming up my speed sets, as i dont want to just spam on my Feral Druid like many do, i want to farm instances on all my characters.
so i'm glad that this is becoming a series.
I got the Hammer of Vigilance today, I honestly never heard of it and didnt know it was so rare. Im happy. Seems quite niche as a transmog.
Scythe of the Unmaker dropped for me last week for my druid and it was on Balance loot so I believe so long as the class use that weapon type it can drop
Yep. I got the blue one on my monk (mw) back in legion
Great vid but a small correction. You CAN get the mythic set of ToV, (or at least most of it). Blizz only removed the shoulders and helm. The rest can be collected individually. Also there is a very close recolour of it available from the Trading Post.

About the Scythe - don't need to be feral or guardian to get it. I got 🔵 as Balance on first try back in BFA(wasn't actually a try cuz I didn't know it existed back then), and got the ♥️ version about 20-30 tries later on the same balance druid.

anyone who can use a polearm has a chance to get it, specc doesn't matter.
1:20 it actually drops on lfr and mythic as well (mythic is not restricted to the red version only, i've seen the blue one drop MULTIPLE times)

Ok. You got a new follower. There was no gotcha for this, no unspoken little sneaky things, it was very straight forward. Scythe of the Unmaker drops the blue version in LFR as well.
It can drop on mythic as well
But can we still run it in lfr, I beleave she was informing on what we can farm for. Unless I'm mistaken we can't access lfr out of current xpack raids

Havent play wow for a while, but I really love this kind of hidden stuffs content about wow.
Also you can bring any Evoker spec for a chance to get the 2h swords/scythes. They're able to equip them :)
not the scythes, those are polearms and Evokers cannot use that. Unless they've changed that?

Didn't realize how lucky I was getting that mace from Maiden of Vigilance, it really completed my outlaw rogue's look that patch. It was just an ilevel upgrade.
Even with artifact weapons?
what a lovely fairy tale. why do people feel compelled to tell these useless lies? lol
remember that siege of orgrimmar and any raid after that can be done on all difficulties in a weekly reset, so if you're going for the Trials of Valor appearances, you can do all 4 difficulties and they all drop the quest items so you can do it in 2 weeks. I usually end up with more than 600/1000 after doing the first week.

Pretty sure loot spec does not matter at all for old raid drops, or anything you solo. Anything you can equip unlocks transmog.
Blue Scythe of the Unmaker also drops from LFR. I can confirm this as that's the way I got it. I heard that Taeshalach also drops on LFR, but this is still not obtained by me :)

You know how mad I was when I took a break from wow only to come back, continue my grind for Walrglaives on my rogue. FINALLY get one. Can’t be transmog. It hurt so bad 😭
the scythe of the unmaker (blue) can drop from LFR, i got it luckily in a few tries, taeshelach took me months but it still dropped from LFR

I can tell you for 100% that the Scythes drop whatever spec you are. As a prot paladin I got both blue and red colors.

From my understanding bout the burning throne weps, aslong as they can use the wep it can drop for them regardless of spec, as example no one actually ran surv hunter back in Argus, but as MM I got polarm, the loot is awarded so it doesn’t follow loot pathing

The Blue Scythe also drops from LFR
you can get scythe of the unmaker if your on a class that can use it doesnt matter about your loot spec, had a BM hunter in legion get it on our first kill
I beg to differ, I managed to get the Soulstealer's Barrier first before any other Legion Assault Weapon; I was after the red-crystalled Bloodseeker's Bulwark due to it's appearance and coloration matching that of the Shadowrend Talonblade that drops from Shadow Sage Iskar on Heroic Hellfire Citadel.

I'm unsure if it has been tested/confirmed by anyone, but I'm curious if Evokers can get Taeshalach, as they technically can use 2h swords.

i have always wanted to know in the ''appearances'' tab if that is ALL the transmog in wow or if theres transmog hidden that is not in the ''appearances'' section
wouldn't really call the Chosen Dead gear "hidden" as you get them easily if you just do the raid either once or a couple of times, but then again I only think transmog such as the Waist of Time or things obtained from ACTUAL in-game secrets counts as "hidden". Anything else depends on luck and timing.
also the only way to get Grifta's hidden shoes back in legion was to start the invasion questline to begin the expansion and while running to the ship that would take you to the Broken Shores, you'd be able to buy the "shoes" from Grifta ONLY if you were in that phase of the quest and not after you got on the ship.
As I wrote in the description of the video, "Hidden" in this case refers to any transmog which is hidden from your journal and the loot table. Meaning you technically won't know about its existence until it drops (or you read about it online).
Also. During two BFA assaults - Mogu and Aqir, you can Farm Hidden weapons from rares.
And in shrine of the storm you can get a cloth set
i didnt know the scythe's were so rare, i got both the blue and red one before taescalach
NOTE: Scythe of the Unmaker BLUE can also drop from mythic. Happend to me

I always thought the scythe wasnt that rare, since (i dont mean to brag here) i dropped the blue one on like the 2nd try and the red one on one of my first couple farm runs trying to get the mount. Turns out i was really lucky back then
Though i needed like 120 tries to get Taeshalach which i got like 3 weeks ago
I got the scythe from Argus (both red and blue) on Protection paladin.

I got the scythe on my bm hunter the week it came out and I didn’t even know it existed. I’ve never once switched to survival spec
I must of been crazy lucky to get Schyte (both colors) and Taesalasch from first try lol

back in legion the blue argus scythe could also drop in mythic but the red was mythic only.
The blue one still drops in mythic, it dropped for me 2 weeks ago. I seen that it also said mythic in green text and got so excited thinking I’d finally got the red one and it was blue. Never felt so disappointed in my wow life 😂😂😂

Retri Paladins can get the scythe too.
Also, I got the Blue Version on Mythic. I think you got the difficulties Mixed Up.
The blue one has a chance to drop on mythic difficulty too. But the red one can only drop on mythic.

you can't use polearm as a warlock so no it won't drop sadly. It can only drop for a class that can use it.
blue scythe can also drop in mythic.
Scythe of the unmaker blue version can drop from ALL difficulties.

The main-hand war glaive is much rarer than the off-hand one. It is NOT the same drop rate.
Did not seem to rare to me. Had both of them drop back-to-back in 2 lockouts :P.
The scythe and 2hander 100% can be bonus rolled and drop for any class that can use them at all spec doesn't matter. I've seen it bonus rolled and both drop for BM hunters

A lot of them have been recolored as rewards of the Time Rifts

I love the hidden apperances in the game i just hate how there locked behind rng on crazy levels i wish they where more like the puzzles and challenges to get them besides just crazy luck :/ i have been trying to get sythe of the unmaker for so long so so many characters a weak .......

@@ImaMainlol The blue can also drop on mythic (I learned that after making this video) - but the red can only drop on mythic, not hc or normal.
