False, that's just with any other car. Maintenance is slightly higher than non-foreign cars, but 3.0 TFSI is one of the best Audi engines, and the ZF transmission is perfect. Be ready to do some maintenance on your own, and if you take your car to the dealership for regular maintenance such as oil change, brakes, suspension, etc.. you should not own a vehicle if you are struggling. Find a German Mechanic nearby and start going there rather than the dealership.

The first problem was buying one with 100K on it….those issues are expected at that mileage unfortunately. Also it’s not an entry level luxury car…it’s 3 models that are lower than the A7 and only one under the A8. I bought mines with 30K miles three years ago and haven’t had any mechanical issues…I love it. I’ve done oil changes, brakes and tires over the years maintenance wise. My advice with any foreign car is to get one with low mileage and grab an extended warranty….which are unfortunately pricey. Mines was $6,200, which bumped up my car note, but all in all, The Batmobile was a sound purchase.

I have a 2012 A7 with 140k miles and it's still going strong. Why? Because I keep up with everything. Every 60k miles i change the transmission fluid, it costs about $700 but paring that every 60k miles is a whole lot better than paying $4,500 for a new trans. After 100k miles get a carbon cleaning, yeah it costs about $900 but itll keep your engine clean and happy and healthy. The 3.0T engines are some of the best Audi has ever made BUT like all cars you have to take care of it and yes it costs a little more than say a Honda Civic but your also getting a whole lot more car than that so...

Entry level is a3-a4, c250, c300, 328i Bmw, A7 is right under the top tier flag ship A8…yea at 100k miles the maintenance is more pronounced with issues due to wear n tear, but just depends. I sold a 2012 a7 with 135k miles last year and she’s still driving it and it has 160k now, she had no issues besides o2 sensor and starter went bad. They are strong but close to 100k miles u need to get it inspected, oil leaks, trans fluid and leaks, suspension, ac comp, electrical components. If you purchased a solid a7 or any car with 100k that have been kept up, they will last. Plus only your full synthetic oil, 91+ octane fuel and your car will drive a lot better.

I’m going to go ahead and speak for all of us and say that this guy doesn’t know a thing about this platform he just bought what he thought was a nice and good looking car with what I would say somewhat high mileage
For this motor and trans set up
Now in my opinion this motor and transmission set up is one of Audi’s
most reliable motors and set ups it can easily over exceed 200,000 miles with the proper service and maintenance
Now I do not know if the complaint of price and work needed to be done to the car is due to the guess that maybe he doesn’t work on his own car, but buddy can only blame him self you tried to get name brand and think that any little thing wouldn’t cost you which normal it wouldn’t if you did the work yourself but from what I see in this video I can only assume that you take this car to the dealer for every service or thing that happens you probably don’t even change your own oil 😭

Audi has the most expensive maintenance from BMW, Audi, Mercedes. I have bought one my BMW's from an Audi mechanic and he told me one thing - "Never buy Audi". I had 4-5 BMW's and the pricing is better than Audi, however you should pay in some garage to inspect the car before you buy it. Now I got enough "sporty" driving with BMW and I think to switch to S-class W222 facelift.
