I would love to go to a journal meet up. Im trying to get back into journaling and seeing everyones process would be really fun. Im going to have to check out this cafe since im right down the 405. 🤍🤍
I have never really been to a stationary specific meetup more like a crafty meetup. Slowly getting into my travelers notebooks and trying to find ways to use the inserts. I tend to collect things and not use them so trying to do better. 🐐

I never actually journal during meet-ups 😂 there’s too much to trade, see, and talk about! But that’s the best part about meet ups! The best influences come from in person meetups, I love trying other people’s fountain pens.
It's so fun to chat and just geek out over each other's stuff! Stacy is the best!
🌜I love a good stationary meet up, checking out everyone's journals, and hearing about how they use them! I have a spot called The Paper Seahorse nearby and they do travelers meetups that are always a lot of fun!

🐐🌙 I went to a stamp caravan event at Bookbinders in Melbourne where I was lucky to win a plane tn. I was hoping to meet new stationary friends but it was very busy. Maybe in the future!

Yes, I've been to a number of stationery/journaling meet ups. Before the pandemic, April and friends used to host the Seattle Stationery Society, usually once a month at a cafe. While a few people might have met this year, the last meeting of the SSS was Feb 2020.
I had no idea there was a group like this here in Seattle, I’m so sad to hear meetings aren’t happening anymore!
🐐 I haven’t gone to one. And would love to and make friends. It looks like the best environment to.
IF also helped me stop late night snacking. I would have found it impossible not to eat them as brunch is my favourite, especially social brunch. And the food looked so good. 😊

They're totally invited! We use rings too! I think most of us just brought our chunky/filled-in notebooks!
I've never been to a journal or stationary meet up in my life-mostly because I'm too busy or I just can't find one to go to that close to me. But that looks really fun and a good time! 🐐

Fun video! I've been on some meetups, once on Abbey's Patreon meetup & another on a local store! I actually got overwhelmed so through this video, I confirmed that it's totally valid to not journal there & just look at all they pretty things haha!! 🌙 I am watching this video while doing my own IF which has helped me as well! 🐐

🌕🐐 I'm a newbie n the Traveler's Notebook world but have had similar meetups in my past lives. When flickr was a viable community, I met some lovely fellow photographers. Then I started photographing toys which evolved into Blythe dolls and I met some more wonderful people and attended Blythe conventions in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Those were the days I’m hoping to recapture.

Stationery meet ups are the best ❤ I've been to a few and have never actually journaled while I was there either. 😆 do you happen to remember what the name of those cool dual tone marker/pens were called? They're so cool!

@@JobsJournal oh! Never heard of the paper seahorse - looked them up online. It makes me wish I lived in Tampa. that’s about a four hour drive up the west coast of Florida for me - putting it on my “stop if I am ever in the area” list
The only other store I had found was Anemoia Mercantile in Jacksonville ( 4 hour drive up the east coast of Florida for me) took me a year but I was finally able to stop there on a driving out of state trip - I was so wowed to see things in person vs online - love the touch and feel experience - so… one day I may darken the doorstep of the paper seahorse😜
