Kids nowadays will never know how temperamental those old big blocks can be. I love it. It’s like walking out and waking up a monster and it’s pissed off about it
@@SrgntPickles that’s true in retrospect but I mean let’s be honest bro with all due respect and sincerity towards not starting an argument and me not trying to offend anyone but I’ll say the same with an Impreza, RX7, or Supra, or EVO or any badass JDM cars, it’s just not the same as waking up an angry big block. I’m not talking horsepower or compression, torque, lateral Gs. I’m talking the feeling you get when you wrap your fingers around the wheel. That feeling of power surging through your body when you wake it up. The feeling you get when you grab the shifter knob and rattle it a couple times, the feeling you get when you tap the throttle a couple times before starting it just to feed it. The way it feels when a 4bbl opens wide and slams you in the seat. Having to yell at your passenger or not even worrying about a stereo cuz the engine is music enough. Big Block all day long man. Don’t get me wrong I love the JDM cars and imports and I have total due respect towards those machines. But when you are in a Chevelle or a Cobra and you start it and just by the sound alone you know for a fact you have enough torque and power to pull a house off it’s frame. Much love and respect to ya bud
That car looks fast just sitting there. There's just something that gets your adrenaline going when you look at a 427 Cobra. I guess the history of the great car has something to do with it, oh yeah and Carroll Shelby.
It's so exciting watching a cold start isn't it. Imagine the excitement watching a hot start! It's all just too exciting for me. Luckily he noticed the door didn't close on first try.
mine is 347 small block ford, alum heads, gun metal blue/gray with 485hp at 2600 lbs but not a superformace. still a lot of fun though. mine even sets off some car alarms just driving by.
Earlier today, somebody drove past my house in a new Charger. He floored the gas as he went by. Engine roared, and I thought to myself “that doesn’t really sound right...(?)” This? This sounds right. 🤘😜🤘
😂😂 my old Triumph takes at least 6 attempts to start..... 1300 cc of pure muscle... badass indeed, especially when I call the recovery truck 5 miles from home!
An orginal AC cobra was a 100 years ahead of its time. This was first think I think I ever loved. But when I actually got to look at one in person I am to tall to even sit in it ;( I felt cheated on and had to find another dream car to take the place of this one. it is a bad let down.
When my father sold his company, they moved toa really nice neighborhood. Dude @ entrance of neighborhood had a 66 - that thing would rattle the golf course.
My grandpa built one of these with one of his buddies. They sold it for 44 grand but since his buddy bought most of the parts my grandpa got 17 grand for it. Still miserable whenever I think about the customer driving it away
Fibreglass knoockoffs can be built for about $45,000.00 Beautiful Aluminums for around $125,000.00 and they will be perfect and last forever. Kirkham make the best aluminum copies. Absolutely beautiful and well worth the investment....your great grandchildren will be driving the one you bought.
My dad has a superformance. I remember going to order it about 18 years ago. With the motor and everything is was 52k. After all these years it is worth over 70k easily since the news ones have gone up so much since then. It has been a great investment for him, even though that’s not why he bought it. The car will be kept in family and passed onto generations if they have a passion for cars. I think a new superformance with his motor and options would be over 90k now. Their gt40’s could be finished for about 125k back then. Now I think just the roller is about that much.
Not the best sounding cobra iv heard but they all sound damn good. The best sounding cobra iv heard hapens to be my all time favorite sounding car IT BEATS EVERYTHING. But that is only my opinion.
A certain orangutan once said...
"7 litre VEE EIGHT MODUR!"
Except this one's making power...
I was thinking the same!
Seven liters Wee 8 modur
And
12 hoerpower
Are you talking about black people?
@@PornstarJerome no, top gear
Funny how that’s your first assumption
I really really really really really need one of these.
Don’t we all bro
You have fund now or nah?
Yeah gl to try get something is worth 118million
@@Keni2431 Since its a Superformance car, it's probably only about $200,000
Why not get a real one, these fibre-glass knock offs are cheap.
When the fuel pump is louder than your water pump at home
Such sweet music it makes!
Superformance makes some really awesome cars no doubt about that
There was a neighbor when i was in high school In Northern Va. who had a 289 & a 427 side oiler Cobras. They were awesome cars.

A lot of “kid car enthusiasts” ik mostly focus on the brand, horsepower and price nowadays. Quite rare to see true ones ;-;
just get some aggressive cams and the ol' Camry will do the same.

Your one of the few that know how to start a car that's probably been sitting most people get in something and hammer down on the motor .👍
I cringe when people do that thinking of the metal shavings getting in the oil.
God damn those velocity stacks are awesome
Four dual Weber’s!
