NEW Sage R8 Spey and Spey II Reel | First Look

Sage sent us the new Sage Spey R8 two hander and the all new Spey II Reel to get a first look. We sent Fred from the Great Falls shop to get his initial thoughts. The Spey R8 utilizes a proprietary graphite technology they call Revolution 8. The Sage R8 and Spey II will be available January 16th, 2024 at all House of Fly locations and on our website.

The blank color is so ugly - swamp green??

@@michaelkaniecki1998 no it’s not - Winston, Thomas and Thomas, G Loomis, Hardy all have beautiful blanks. That color on the R8 is swamp muddy greenish brown.
