Dumpster Dive Success - Kong Dog Beds and Food to Donate!

- Hey y'all and welcome back to our dumpster diving channel! We had a lot of fun going out and found some great items to donate. The Kong dog beds were easy to wash and have been donated to our local animal shelter, and the canned food you see us donate to the free pantry in our area. It was just a great day and we can't wait to share another adventure with you all! Happy Sunday!

Happy Sunday, y’all! We had a great time dumpster diving and found some awesome items to donate and keep. Alex fixed the chair up no problem and the tub lid fits the big tub we found a couple months ago. Plus we were able to wash and donate the dog beds and canned foods! Great dive!

I waited patiently to watch the video after getting home from spending Saturday night with my four older sisters my ten year old nephew and five and four year old great nieces at my mom's house for her 77 birthday. Had tons of fun!

As long as that grated cheese wasn't opened, it doesn't need to be refrigerated. It's when you open and use it, then it needs to be

The grated cheese is only refrigerate after opening, I love how Alex loves digging, LOL
The sprinkle cheese carries an expiration date, but is shelf stable.
And only needs refrigeration after after seal is opened.😊

Seeing all that good wood in the trash is a shame with the high prices of wood these days! I think you could have taken it and put it as a curb alert, and someone would definitely snap it right up! You could even pull the nails out before setting it on the curb. It's nice that Alex was able to fix that lawn chair!! Now you just need a smaller lawn chair for Bones!!! 😻 And that would make a nice photo of all three of you for a Christmas card! 😀 Ok…..I'm moving on!!! 🤣🤣🤣
We thought the same about the wood. We also thought that stool might of been a good vintage project and the wood table could have been fixed up as well and been a great little project. We are in the UK and have just sold a vintage stool on MP only for £6 and the lady has done a great job restoring it, (she sent us some photos)

Any piece of wood is gold!! With the price of which it’s going for here in California we c could call it “Golden Wood”! Prices here are outrageous.. up around about 50% to every 75% compared to a year ago.!!
I use wood for building frames, boxes & etc!!
I don’t understand why people throw out good food just because the food bank gives them something they don’t like or want. The things my son and I get if we can’t use it we put in the blessing box. Peanut butter is a favorite of our box. It’s in front of our church. Great dive. Give Bones an ear scratch for me. ❤
Over here we are enjoying early spring warm weather and budding trees also.

The Parmesan cheese at the first dumpster is refrigerate after opening. It sits on the shelf at the grocery store forever until it bought so if it wasn't open it was still fine. Just an fyi for you. A lot of things say that so my truck is to think where is it kept at the store if on a shelf and not open yet it's good.

We have 2 blue Kong beds for our Rhodesian Ridgeback. She chewed both of them, we had to sew them up. Once she realized they were for sleeping and not chewing it was all good. They are expensive dog beds. Good find.

You could also send the peanut butter to the animal shelters the dogs love it x❤
Dogs are not allowed peanut butter as it is toxic unless the ones specifically made for them.

Just a thought but if you ever find grocery bags (plastic or cloth) you could put some in the free pantry. People may not have anything to carry food home. Love you & your channel 😊❤

I use the plastic tub lids for trays under my plant starts. They are made much better than trays I could buy at the nursery. After seed start season, they are easy to clean and store again.
Yes for ornaments just got one at the thrift shop for a buck.
Hello Everyone! Thank you guys for rescuing those items! 👍 I used to go to a food pantry and they forced you to take items you didn't want. I always donated the items to my local food grocer who takes food donations. But, I found out that they just go back to the same food pantry. Some of these food pantry places need to allow individuals to refuse what they don't want or don't eat according to their diet intake. It would prevent a lot of loss.

Ask dog shelters is they can use peanut butter because sometimes its how they get tham to eat meds. Or as a reward. Who knows but you could ask.

That is a folding up sunshade for your vehicle. I use one and love it. Folds into a circle . Very compact.
I would’ve snagged all that wood & the stool.
My FIL snagged some wood off the side of the road and brought it to me. It made the perfect seat pieces for a bench I got from a friend. Score!

The grated Parmesan cheese only has to be refrigerated after the seal under the cap has been removed the first time it's used. Just for future reference Incase you find any in the trash again. Remove the top and check to see if the seal is still intact. Love your videos, and that you rescue food and items to donate to help others.❤

Great finds. I have a kong dog bed for my dog and the cushions all come out and the cover washes. The best thing is they are waterproof.
