  • Now for the big league stages (in my opinion). I had to practice a lot of bad fits in order to scrape a win on this one, but even then this score was wayyy above my 2nd place. Also I do believe I'm the first that I know of to score 100 or more with a full crew but I don't know for sure.
This stage really grew on me, actually. There's a lot of microgames that I would say present fair challenge and there's quite a lack of super easy ones (not a total lack though because holy shit "Like It or Leave It" is so free lol). This is probably one of my new favourites, up there with Nintendo Classics.
As for some of the more dangerous microgames, I find that a lot of them tend of have really different ways of playing, such as "Crash Course", "Collision Course" and "Gondola Lift" and not knowing them all makes those ones a little worrying to me.
Unfortunately I have to ask why the fuck does "Block Puzzle" exist?? It feels ridiculously hard compared to the rest, with a number of characters who make it horrendous. It's way too easy to overshoot even with some more accurate characters and break two blocks, especially on 2 player, and some patterns are way easier to register and approach than others. Honestly getting a bad pattern with someone like Kat, 9-Volt or Penny is a guaranteed loss.
Quick notes on the run, it was pretty clean throughout. Mostly fine losses and some good wins but that end was a bit shit. One thing I like about the game is how good it got at win detection so you don't get those silly microgames where the win occurs significantly after an action. I was impressed by how few there were. I learned the hard way though that they still exist! Shame, that was to enter the boss stage too :(
Now, Orbulon, Jimmy.T and Anything Goes remain. The latter has driven me absolutely insane trying to break 100, it seems to always surprise me with a new stupid pairing.
