Beginners Guide to Gunmetal Grey - Using Bosny Spray Paints Another Bosny Spray Paint tutorial video. This time, it's about achieving Gunmetal Grey using these Spray Paints
I still have some Primer Gray and Flat Black remaining, and watching this video convinced me to get Yanmar Bronze for my GBWC entry. Thanks for the video.
Im glade thia videi waa able to help. Since bosny are fixed colors, there are only limited workaround to get the gunmetal color. One that I discovered is using yanmar bronze
Thanks for Da shoutout.. Should have tried using gloss black or flat black. I would have it lightly misted. Thats what I usually do when I dont use airbrush using the mixing method.
I have use metallic black at the end which is almost the same as gloss black and I doubt using flat black would make any siginificant difference as metallic black is enough to represent the darkesrt undercoat. Of course, misting would definitely have a different result but that's a technique not only applicable for gunmetal, it is definitely a technique of Spray Can Painting itself 😂. Remember, this is only a.beginners guide video so that people would get an idea of the paint they needed to make the gunmetal effect using bosny spray paint ☺️☺️☺️
A bit confusing with all the paints and stuff but still informative and clears some doubts. I'll definitely use this for future references. Thanks a lot sir hyper wepppp
Thanks. I would try to do of an experiment of a Bosny Black tint coated with an undercoat of Bosny Chrome, Silver or Aluminum Silver. The problem is, Bosny Black tint is super rare in my area. I would try to search it forst online
When doing gunmetal with bosny, you dont have to topcoat at the end but... In you want to go the extra mile in making the gunmetal look more shiny and protected, I suggest using bosny 190 clear (gloss topcoat).
As per video, pede nman sir. Ubg yanmar bronze ang mahalaga in achieving the gunmetal grey, syempre ung undercoat can any of those primer grey and dark grey
thanks sa guide sir! for car wheels ba sir ganun din? primer grey > dark grey > yanmar bronze (ends here?) or need bosny clear OR flat white > dark grey > yanmar bronze > bosny clear (as you mentioned sa comment po?) Salamat!
@@HyperWeaponHobby thank you po sir. doing this on the weekend or maybe the next weekend antay pa cans ko. Anyway, would you recommend boss na 3coats lahat? primer, dark grey, yanmar bronze and clear coat? Did several DIY paint jobs hopefully mas ok na outcome ngayon. thanks for the demo
No problem sir, glad to help. But as a point to be noted, always test your paint first. Not necessaruly a plastic spoon but a material almost the same of the main object you are about to paint will do

Can you dial down the gloss with a flat clear coat or does it ruine the finish like in your other metallic color tests?
This is informative af! 👏👏👏 Thank you!
Thank you so much. I might not be a bosnu or spray can expert but I will try to share what i have learned from using these paints

Dont mentiion it, i use a lot of undercoat which is is my its confusing
thanks to this :)
Yooo this is another great tutorial however how do you exactly make gunmetal black?
Thanks. I would try to do of an experiment of a Bosny Black tint coated with an undercoat of Bosny Chrome, Silver or Aluminum Silver. The problem is, Bosny Black tint is super rare in my area. I would try to search it forst online
Is yanmar bronze already a glossy finished paint?
So long as you have undercoat, yanmar bronze is already glossy with a bit of metallic sheen after painting
Hello po do you still topcoat it at the end? Planning on buying this one to achieve my gunmetal look

sir pwede ba yung walang yanmar bronze
white > steel grey > clear

Ahhh so need ko pa pala, 1st time ko kasi mag DIY (metallic steel grey ang gusto ko achieve). Thanks sa info sir very informative@@HyperWeaponHobby

Lods ask ko lang. Para maachieve yang gunmetal kailangan ko is primer grey then dark gray at yanmar bronze?
As per video, pede nman sir. Ubg yanmar bronze ang mahalaga in achieving the gunmetal grey, syempre ung undercoat can any of those primer grey and dark grey
Primer ko is dark grey?
Pede nman sir
primer grey > dark grey > yanmar bronze (ends here?) or need bosny clear
