Vegetables or nothing? Oof. However, you already look & feel better! This is your journey girl that will lead to your ultimate goal! 🥰
That makes me sad to hear. Sugar honestly isn't the problem, especially in fruit.
@@Itsunclegabby Sugar absolutely is the problem when it comes to weight loss/weight gain
Protien 100%. I gave up sugar and went 100% Protien and lost 40lbs in 4 months. That was February to May and since then 5lbs more and steady. Lisa Lisa D1 and now Tati gave me some inspiration, but crazy amazing blood work did most of the reason to start and then follow up BW has kept me going!
@@melissaluvsplease1664 Wow!!! Guess I’m gonna try it myself!
@@cheriboberry1808 weight loss is calories in calories out
I used to hate veggies but now I just oil, season & roast on a baking sheet. It’s magical. Prayers up for this new journey ❤
A good roast will do wonders!
How do you hate vegetables? Like
Does the media make
People think they taste bad?
Agree! Grilled zucchini with garlic 😍😍😍😍my favorite!
@@millslite2289 yeah, seen that behavior in American cartoons and films. Main characters showing that vegetables are yuck, especially spinach
@@millslite2289 if you didn't grow up eating many vegetables and grew up eating processed ready made meals your probably not going to like vegetables or know how to prepare them to taste good
Congrats girl! I lost 109, but it took me 1 year and a half. It is not easy for sure. So happy for you! You are beautiful and where before. You are my favorite person to watch😊!
Snacking is one of the primary reasons for weight gain. So basically yeah, veggies or nothing. I can relate, hope you're doing well and new happy experiences will overshadow everything you had to go through!
She should be snacking on protein items versus the vegetables.
@@cateycat1 It depends. Snacks like protein bars are high in calories and could make her skip actual meals which are important for steady progress.
All protein diets are not good for you. I am a prime example from low carb to keto dieting for years caused type 2 diabetes and a fatty liver.
Snacking throughout the day can actually be very good for you and help build your metabolism. What your putting in your body is what really matters. Focus on whole foods like nuts, beans, veggies, fruits, and Greek yogurt instead of chips, snack bars and other processed foods.
Pinterest has a bunch of no sugar, creative, yummy snacks you can make. I love snacking too especially if I’m watching something but I don’t always want to snack on stuff that isn’t very healthy so I always go to Pinterest.
Pinterest in the solution for anything. You can literally type anything in, anything at all and there’s someone that’s hacked it. Honestly, same with Etsy!
@@ElaineM281 maybe she has worked out and it wasn't doing enough (which can be the case), exercise isn't always the most effective solution for everyone and we don't know her situation 😶
Oh yea pintrest was a life saver when I was starting to eat again after my sleeve! I made a boards for snacks and every meal, meal prepping! 5 years out and I still run back to those ideas.
@@ElaineM281 yea weightloss surgery isn't easy, you do still have to work out prior and meet weightloss goals to qualify. Also after to maintain, you dont just magically keep the weight off. Obviously you aren't very educated on the subject and I suggest before calling other people lazy, you stop being lazy and do some research. 😉
@@ElaineM281 lol someone doesn't know what this surgery does or requires
Hey girl It might be a long journey but just look at how far you have come one thing I recommend is journaling your journey the good and bad moments so when you have your baby they can read your story and they can see how strong you were and how brave you are and just how much you wanted to be a mom ❤
There are keto desserts
That’s a wonderful idea. You can bring the journal to your Drs appts and talk about the difficult things. 👍🏻
I had to lower my sugar intake too. I am also a big snacker. The thing I found was fiber one snacks taste great, the keto snacks not so much. Keto granola taste good, also found two good greek yogurt only has 2 grams sugar. Voortman sugar free cookies works, not too many to chose from. My habit was to always snack.. parm crisps are a dry cheese snack. Crackers like triscuit, townhouse, crunch master to name a few, have 1 or. Zero sugar. I buy snack bags and count the serving for each item. I have this on my counter, so when ever I need to grab something its there. Also when I go shopping I put some in my purse, so I don't pick up s candy bar 😎.
“It’s gonna be a long journey”
But we’ll be with you all the way! ❤ we love you
You totally got this! My mother had this done 20 years ago and she’s kept all the weight off this entire time. She has to be careful to not loose too much weight. There are ups & downs, but worth it in her case. I still have her💖
I had sleeve surgery on 9/26 and I completely understand everything you’re going through! I’m proud of you, keep up the good work!!
Hey hun I had surgery in 4/26…. First of all congratulations! Second if your having the issue where u can really “feel your door digest” just make sure your chewing enough and eating as slowly as possible. It’s definitely difficult at first but from my experience it has gotten easier.
Grace goes Gastric ! Watch it !
You are so strong and I know that you’ll make it through this!! Luv u 🤍
Im so so happy for you!! Im an RN and I used to recover bariatric surgeries a lot. I know it is extremely difficult on the body AND mind. But YOU ARE STRONG! You can do it. Just take it one day at a time. Every day will get better and better. The pain will subside & the weird feelings will go away. You are doing so great. Just keep it up and BELIEVE IN YOURSELF BEAUTIFUL ❤ YOU GOT THIS 💪🏼
Thanks for being so honest about this. So many people go through this surgery and then just focus on the weight loss. I've known people who have not taken the limits seriously and really hurt themselves. Take care of yourself, and hang in there.
You posting and updating us on your journey is- absolutely amazing. I want to thank you so so much.
I'm a heavy girl and been thinking about surgery because dieting isn't working. I'm the only heavy woman in my immediate family, only males in my family's the same way.
I've been feeling really lonely with these problems and been kinda keeping it all to myself but to see you, a beautiful, successful woman also having struggled and now progressing is SO comforting.
Thank you for sharing your journey! ❤
I’m diabetic so I feel you on the snack issue. You have to get adventurous and explore outside of the normal box of what we think of when we think snack. That’s a whole other ballgame when it comes to dessert tho! 😞
I’m a type 1 diabetic. I have the same problem with snacks. Specifically when my blood sugar is high and I’m hungry lol. Here are some of the low carb snacks I eat. Popcorn, salami and cheese, nuts, mostly peanuts and almonds. Bacon and eggs, there are some really low carb Greek yogurts too. Like 5 grams. I also have some low carb dessert favorites too, when I don’t feel like covering for a lot. I’m sure there’s other stuff I’m forgetting. But I hope this helps someone.❤
@@cayden6807 Type 2, here ... All good snacks but popcorn is VERY, VERY high.
God bless!
I have 100 sugar free and low-carb desserts. I can forward you my list. Message me.
@@martijobarrett4527 I hear for some people it is. But it doesn’t bother me. Especially if there is nothing on it.
I love how she is just so open and honest and tells it exactly how it is … things most people would never put out there especially with the nasties of the internet. I will ALWAYS root for this chick!! I hope she gets everything she wants from life
My friend had gastric bypass surgery, how ever if the lifestyle doesn't change the surgery won't work,it failed because of her going back to the old habits. Eating clean and what ever you can just pull out of the earth and clean off is the way to go. It will not be easy, and Yes you said it right. Vegetables and meat pretty much. Everything has soy,or high fructose corn syrup or sugar, find fruits to blend into smoothies for when you have sugar craving and mix with all real fruit 100% juice, I use Lakewood. And throw in some things that are good for you and will curb your appetite. Ginger , celery, bell peppers, dandelions. I follow the sick, fat and nearly dead diet. Healthiest ever. Seriously. Fruit smoothies healthy ones include blueberries, blackberries, strawberry, cherry. Excellent. Good luck. Awesome girl. Lots of blessings for you. Have a beautiful day. 😊🌸
Deviled eggs! Hummus n veggies! Samosas! Garbanzo beans in salad 🥹🥗 proud of u ❤️🔥
Omg the feeling of the food going down! I didn’t have gastric bypass but I had my gallbladder removed and for months I could feel my organs moving bc something was missing. I understand exactly what you’re saying.
Praying for you! Mine erupted in March this year! I can no longer digest beef or pork anymore!
I’m a nurse and a snacker, I’m not really a big meal person. I can definitely send you a list of zero sugar snacks? You got this girl. ❤️❤️
Everyone needs that’s list 😊
Please share 😉
Gracias!
Girl i admire you so much for this, you should be proud of your determination. I'm hoping you can get to a place where you're happy with yourself and at peace
You’re looking radiant and I can see the positive changes on your face! Keep it up
I’m on this journey with you girlie. Recently found out that I might have PCOS and it’s been a struggle finding things to eat without eating dairy, sugar, or too much gluten. I’m trying to lose weight too, we got this! ❤
Sugar makes pcos worse???? I have it too. I have irregular cycle and beard 😢
@@IrisFlorentinaA yeaaahhh it makes it worse. One side effect of PCOS is weight gain and it’s because your hormones are imbalanced
I'm just so proud of you, it's not easy to just loose 50lbs and keep it off. On top of it,it's for a great cause!!!! And your face is still on fleek
Gurl you got this! For me I have an eating disorder so I’m going to constantly struggle probably till my dying day. However, the good thing is, that I’ve gotten better at controlling my binge urges and the hate that I used to have for myself and my body. That doesn’t mean I’m perfect now, I have horrible days, bad days, and good days. Honestly the point of my message is, that it really takes a day at a time, and loads of patience for yourself (body and mind). ❤
You look gorgeous as always we are all so proud of you and exited :")💜💜
You are looking so good right now. I’ve been concerned about you. I know several people who have had this surgery. It’s a new way of life so don’t be hard on yourself. You got this❣️
I am post-op 18 years 2003. I ended up falling off program getting "comfortable" and than regain weight. GOT serious around 2013. Learning not to diet but focus on life style changes. ALONG with mental health. Which is the key to the weight lost NOT the gastric bypass. The mental health addresses WHY you had weight gain in first place. I am in a total difference place in 2022. 49 years old and 148. Long journey and I still try to find out how my body works and what I like to eat as well. You got this GIRL 🥰.
Love you Stephanie. Things will get better for you. Hang in there, Honey.
You’re absolutely gorgeous inside and out and just getting even better everyday!! Be strong in your journey and know that you are a beautiful person that is very good at what you do. People that you don’t even know , love you❤😊🙏🏻🙋🏼♀️
Ahhh!! I’m so happy for you for getting the surgery! I ended up having my sleeve surgery last year and I am currently down 156 pounds. It’s an amazing feeling and it was the best decision of my entire life. It’s a long journey, but a year out and I feel freaking tremendous.
What is a “ sleeve surgery “ ???
I appreciate how real you are about your struggles. It brings hope to people. ❤ thank you!
Ey, girl, I FEEL YOU!! I'm 10 months post-op and it's a process... Man, I hate that sentence, but it's true. It just takes time to figure out the whole food thing - what works for you, what's best for you. But, Hon, when you are suddenly fitting into clothing sizes you never imagined - whooo! All worth it! (makes sure to be a part of a bariatric support group - it's a MUST & A LIFESAVER) ❤️
I’m so excited for you and can’t wait to continue to hear how your doing and follow u on your “ New Journey.” So good to hear and see that you are doing so well. Your beautiful just as you are!! But so good to see the excitement in your eyes and smile as you talk about how much better your already feeling. Don’t get flustered, you will put together some good foods you like.
Goodluck on your journey!
GIRL !!! I had my sleeve done last May & I thought I was the only one who could feel their food processing 😅😂 It's so frustrating, especially when you're eating something you love 😭 But I'm glad you're healing well! ❤️
Love your positivity! Being an overweight person myself I know how good it feels when you find yourself on track to a healthier life! You go girl! Lots of good wishes ❤
I’m praying for you! You are beautiful always! ❤

It's all a struggle in the beginning there after you got it all under control❤️ great job girl
I’m not a viewer of yours, because I’m honestly not very interested in makeup, but I saw this video on my fyp and decided to take a look. Scrolling down your videos, I can see your progress, and I’m so proud of you. It will be a long journey, and I’m sure it already has been. But there’s no rush. You set your own rules. This is your body and your health, and your mental heath, which is so *so* important. Keep trying, but don’t push yourself too hard 💙
I watched the first few seconds of the short and had to pause it and run to the comments and tell you how gorgeous you look!!! Ofc you were beautiful before but you seem more confident now and you’re so radiant. Your face is much slimmer. I know recovery from surgery is very difficult but im so proud of you for doing this for yourself and your health. You’ll be a great mom
I can see the change already and yes this is a lifelong journey. Closer to your goal of being a mama! :)
You go girl!!!! God bless you !!! You are so courageous
I really appreciate your hard work and determination to achieve all your dreams. You will have a baby one day and he or she will grow up as an amazing person like you.
I have 2 cousins who have had this surgery and they share their ups and downs. I'm very proud of them. Hang in there, you can do it!
You can do this!! You have no idea tge power you actually have! It's true for all of us! Our brain tells us to quit when things get hard, but if we get that out of our way there's gonna be no stopping you!
hello darling wishing you only the best & amazing future ahead
I completely understand! I had bypass too. It will get better. You look fabulous 🥰 and I am glad you are feeling so good. Protein, protein, protein!
I’m very proud of you!! You look amazing and I can feel your energy, you’re going to be ok
It is a huge life adjustment! I know that we’re all so happy for you. Your health is improving day by day, and you are looking radiant! You go girl!💅🏽✨
Make sure you have a lot of protein also! Protein and carbs are the best for your body along with fruits and veggies of course but don’t limit yourself too much! Good luck and I love your videos
I dont get your advice. Fruits and most carbs are pure suger or quickly converted into glucose aka sugar. She cant have sugar, she said. The only carbs she can have that dont instantly turn into sugar are lower carb veggies, like string beans, sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. She has to limit herself because her body will react in non-pleasant ways, and many people with gastric bypass gain the weight back. She is listening to her doctors and her body - she's doing good. Your advice is undermining her, although I know you dont intend to do that. Please be careful how to support people who have undergone gastric bypass.
Hi love ! I had the surgery and I eat so many snacks now. There is so much out there. Let me know if you want more info about it!❤️❤️
Shoot i do lol
Please, i want to know if we could ever eat normally ? 😢 i have had mine 4 weeks ago. And its very hard and emotional.. i sometimes regret doing it. Will i ever be able to eat normal snacks or eat out. I will appreciate if you could please share your experience, thankyou
@@myraahmadkhattak9952 hi! I do wanna say I and my dear friend got this surgery and we both struggled a bit because it’s mentally and physically exhausting/challenging. So it may feel at first like you can’t eat anything bad but that’s only for a little bit. I stayed very consistent for about 7-8 months just finding ways to eat protein and veggies. But it’s been a year for me now and I still always make sure I have my protein with a side of something bad I’ve been craving. But of course I don’t eat that all my meals. My friend on the other hand what she does is eat whatever she wants and makes sure she at least drinks the protein for the day. So that way she can have best of both worlds buuuut with that she lost so much weight that she doesn’t want to get skinnier so that’s why she eats that way. Me, I like to make sure I’m always eating protein. For example, have a steak with some mashed potatoes. Or chicken with Mac and cheese. I do go to the gym like 3x a week though. I would say at first I regretted it but now I’m happy! I can small moderations and not feel guilty. But do stay strict for about 6-8 months. Follow the plan. I ate protein chips and protein bars that were yummy! I found ice cream that was within my macros. You just gotta becareful what you put in your body in these beginning stages. I know it’s hard! I cried and honestly was so depressing but hey you did this for a reason just keep your eyes on that and like I told you just keep searching for things you can still sneakingly put into your diet that are not too bad. I hope you’re okay though!
And the reason I love eating protein each meal is because our body needs it, energy feeds off that and you’ll prevent your hair from falling out a-lot
Thankyou so much Letti S, I am so grateful for your detailed response- it gave me hope and I feel a bit calm and relaxed- I was actually panicking and had an anxiety attack a while ago so i kept searching for videos regarding this topic that could make me feel better .
Appreciated 😊
I have some tips for zero sugar snacks! My mom is allergic to sugar and we always have sugar free snacks in the house for her. For example, Pringles original are sugar free, and if you want something sweet, Lilly's Chocolate is really good.
awww, hope your okay! i love watching your videos and i think that you’re absolutely beautiful 😍 hopefully you’ll feel better 😘 love you girl xxx
Thanks for the update on your journey. I know it's hard but you're a warrior❤️
I hated veggies but once you start bettering yourself... You love everything that's making you better , i was little obese but very obese... Loosing 66 lbs on my own ... I feel so goo
I am so proud of you girl!! It is so hard to lose weight. I had to because of my height and pcos. Also I want to be around for my kids longer and be able to do the things you talked about in your other video. The reward of doing those things and feeling better is so worth it. You got this queen.👑
Truly respect your honesty. You are such a beautiful woman.
I hear ya sister
I have burning mouth and esophagus issues
So sugar makes the burning worse
I guess I’m going to bake my own with xylitol cause I can’t find any snacks without sugar snd I’m craving …. Big time
The struggle is real
I can send you 200 recipes. Xylitol kills dogs. Be careful with that stuff. I have alternatives. Message me if you want.
I know exactly how you feel 😭 I also love snacks so much but I started doing keto and not being able to have sugar/bread and limited to fruits…it’s a bit hard 😅
You’ve got this angel, don’t give up!
I'm SO glad you feel good girl! That's amazing.
My best friend had this surgery done and I love hearing how you are while recovering and what you are learning. Referring her to your page in case you feel like sharing more in a playlist maybe :) you are not alone and I pray the rest of this adventure goes great 🎉
You are absolutely beautiful, inside and out! I really enjoy your videos and how you smile with your eyes. Wishing you all the best ❤
I found that taking smaller bites and chewing thoroughly helped. Most people shove their food down without chewing. So I started eating like I was enjoying every little morsel. I also liked to read or watch tv while eating so you can take your time chewing but don’t get bored. It helped me to combat that feeling you described. Also combining in each bite at least two flavors that compliment each other, like a protein with a crunch, like lettuce or carrots. If you haven’t already, check out some recipes for homemade lettuce wraps. Good luck dawling! And BTW, soon you are going to start soon experiencing people acting weird around you or jealous now that you are losing weight and looking good. They almost can’t help themselves. Just be yourself and humble. If you lose friends over this, don’t be surprised. If someone really cares about you, and are truly your friend, they will come back. 😊
I AM FOLLOWING. I subbed to you a long time ago, but this series of you telling us how it's going about your health is keeping me more interested on you.. Please keep us updated and inspire us to continue loving ones self. I wanted to see your progress💕
I’m happy to hear about your weight loss! You’re such a smart beautiful young woman who can now look forward to many years of better health and self contentment . Now you have everything: health, brains and of course beauty. Each step can be a journey🎉
You got that natural beauty and funniest sense of humor. Wishing you the best. Good luck
Im so proud of you and always remember one thing you can do anything that you put your mind to it !! Your a woman on a mission now, and were all backing you up in your journey !!
So before you even said anything about the weight loss, I was thinking to myself "this girl is glowing" I can totally see a change and it's coming from within.
Girl we gonna be right here by your side, supporting you 🙌🏽🙌🏽
See the fact that you took responsibility for your own health and did something abt it is amazing.
You are going just great. You will see the fruit of your labour soon. Good wishes.
Hey girl! My dad had gastric bypass. The first few years (who am I kidding, even now) he uses a toddler plate to help portion food so he doesn’t over eat. And by over eating, I mean eating more food than a small lemon sized amt.
If he messed up, to deal with the pain, he swears by walking immediately after eating to help food go down or deal with the pain of “over eating”. With how small the stomach is, just drinking too much water while you eat takes up extra room in the belly and is painful. He will literally get up from a restaurant table, excuse himself, and go walk around outside.
Amazon is great affordable source for vitamins and minerals you have to supplement with now.
And lastly, using poopourri in the toilet when using restroom helps with the odor with lots of frequent flushing.
Hope I didn’t overstep by sharing any of this, and wishing you a super speedy recovery!
One thing that I discovered after I had my surgery was having a hard time getting enough protein. One because the shakes were so thick . But my favorite discovery was “Protein waters” go sugar free candy as well, if you like candy. Cheese crisp are nice too! And I’m post 1.3 years and it gets better that feeling of the food going down but I can breathe now I used to have sleep apnea it’s gone . Blood pressure down, I can walk up and down steps and I can do a lot more with my life! God is good! I’m glad you’ve taken this step ! Health is Wealth! ❤
I literally had you on my mind earlier today and was wondering how you are. Your videos make us feel like we really know you. You're such a sweetie with such a great personality. It's great news that you're doing well...the digestion thing will get better with time. God bless you❤️
I'm so happy you feel good! Change is hard. You are doing a great job.
I have never gotten that surgery, and i still struggle to find something to eat so i can definitely relate, you're definitely not alone girl 🙂 I'm a snacker too. But i agree with the comments, Pinterest has a lot of awesome ideas for almost every type of food. Non-sugar, low fat, high fat, keto and so on. Experiment with different foods, get to know what you like ya know. You have a lot of support here with us! Love you girly 😚
Focus on the fact your wealthy enough to get the surgery and that you have thousands of fans cheering you on and so much support. Be grateful 🙏 🙂
I don't know if you're at this stage still, but if you eat the wrong thing and get nauseous the vibration from things like air conditioners really helped me. I may have looked funny leaning against an air conditioner, but sometimes eating the wrong thing really really hurts
YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!! AYO WHAT UE DOING IS SO FREAKEN HARD! I've only met a few ppl in my life who also got that procedure. Food and digesting ur food is the number one complain I hear about this. I know u got this and I pray you'll figure it out so I can just live
You look amazing. Eating is difficult. I'm allergic to everything after having a hysterectomy alongside a thyroid issue. So finding stuff I don't react to is hard. I'm starving. It's trial and error and everyday is a new day. Love your makeup. Looks so natural. I need to gain the confidence you have. Keep it up love. You will succeed!!! ☺️
Congratulations on making this difficult choice. Your determination will get you through.
Were cheering you on dear. You're still making progress even on struggling days. 🎊 🎉 💃
Yay!! 🎊 CONGRATULATIONS! Absolutely proud of you. *Get it girl!!*
That surgery has stolen my life since 2008. The pics and stories I could tell. I pray it goes better for u.
I have TMJ and recently been maorjly impacted. I LOVE food and I can’t enjoy eating when it hurts so much to chew and open my mouth just to get food into it. It’s not the same struggle but I relate to the feeling uncomfortable about eating. It’s almost nervousness for the next bite because I’m scared it will hurt or I’ll choke because it’s so hard to chew. On the bright side im working out more because endorphins help more than pain killers and I’m losing weight (which is needed). Here with you in the struggle girl.
Your doing great! It not easy! But be gentle with yourself. We all believe in you ❤️
Your gonna do it your awesome. Look at what you've already accomplished! You go girl.
A lot of these issues should be thought of and worked on before gastric bypass. It could help the success rate . You look wonderful! Keep up the good work
It’s all a journey- that would be really difficult for most people. You got this! You are beautiful and strong, the possibilities are endless ♥️🥰🤟🏼
You got this girl just keep focusing on your body and feeling good! Food is for mindfulness
I’m 3 years out from my VSG. You look fabulous!!!!! Give it time. You’ll find foods that you can eat. One day I can eat an egg, the next I can’t. Trust the process.
I'm 3+ years after doing the sleeve and it completely changed my mindset and lifestyle for the better. It was really tough. In no way do I think it's an easy out! I had so many breakdowns and still have issues because of how my body has handled weight loss and surgery. Take biotin and other hair vitamins! I still am working on growing my hair our since so much of it fell out during that 1st year after surgery. With all of that I'd neverrrrr go back. I'm so proud of my body and how far I've come. Both physically and emotionally. You'll get there. It just takes time and patience 💗❤️
Gosh I'm so so happy for you. And I am certain that you are strong enough to make it through the tougher times too!
I believe in you 🤗
Yes, good friend, you are a changed person and it shows in a positive way. Keep on keeping on, Texas is proud of you so for your goal, make it happen.
Blessed Be
I'm so glad you're recovering well. It will certainly be a journey, but you're so strong!! I absolutely understand what you mean about the snacks vs. meals! I love to graze.. 😕 We absolutely care and definitely want to be here for you! Much love, stay your positive beautiful self. Blessings!!
I'm 5 years post op but I had the sleeve. It gets easier! Eating little bits at a time will get so much easier, and you get used to taking your time and enjoying your food and tasting it. I'm not sure what they told you but my doctor said not to drink while I eat and that helped a lot. The sugar thing is real though! Hang in there! You are doing great 💜💜
Omg same here about the sugar! Congratulations on the surgery and progress so far. You’ll do great.
The more we eat the more our insulin spikes so intermittent fasting is pretty good as well as eggs and veggies and ways to get around eating bread like going keto. It really has helped me a lot aswell as regular exercise. Good luck on your journey it will be a little rocky but once you are used to it it’s much more manageable ❤️
