- How to take profit in forex trading or stocks trading? In this tutorial, i will share with you 10 take profit strategies that you can consider for your trading plan.
Pick whichever take profit strategy that suits your risk appetite and trading personality. Some forex traders prefer a discretionary way of trading and some would trade based on a fixed tp strategy.
Before you have learned how to take profits in trading, then you'll need to backtest your exit strategy in order to become confident at it.
So if you don't know how to exit a trade or don't know how to set a take profit or target price, then i hope this video will help you. Just bear in mind that setting a target price or take profit in forex is slightly different from stocks because, in stocks trading, you'll need to put in limit orders, which i'll elaborate more.
The best take profit trading strategy is the one that suits your trading personality and time frame.

Thank you Karen, very thorough and entertaining! Without a plan, one is planning to fail (by default). I have heard sayings such as "when you don't want to get out the most, that is when you should get out" and "the best time to exit a trade won't feel like it's the best time". Those are emotions though. These strategies remove the emotion from trading, and are more reliable.

Been doing derivatives trading for over a year now, gained a lot and lost a lot due to lack of discipline.
All the strategies you mentioned are excellent and so useful. I realized the importance because people succinctly talking on places about these thing.
Just one thing is I wanna ask is, how do you manage about scam wicks up and down by market makers to stop out traders? There are some forums that could tell where are buyer and seller at a certain price

I spread my risk into several positions. My SL is always random, 2-2.5% of all capital. For weeks I have been wondering how to set "best stoplosses", but I figured it didn't really matter. Once the market will break it, not regardless of whether I set it on ATR or under the trend, average, etc. Setting stoplosses "blindly" means that no one except me and the broker knows where he is, but it is very easy to determine where other people have their stoplosses and this gives me an advantage. At least i think so. It's been too little time since I started blindly stoplossing, so I'm not yet able to say if it actually makes sense

Excellent lecture as always, and as usual it requieres hours to understand some nuances in depth. For instance, as for me there is no huge difference between support and demand zones and support and resistance levels.
The fundamentals behind which it is formed is slightly different.

@ 5:57 Strategy #5 “Time limit TP” can be done automatically by my EA that the EA will close your trade at desired time. For example, you dont want to hold your trade overnight - close trades at 11PM, let setup on EA, it will close your trade accordingly, you do not need to stay up to close the trade.

Everything is great for the guys who is learning from you ...but you forget to teach them one thing ...all the techincal analysis will only work when you look the stocks carefully ...donot just look at particular day profit from share ...if you are looking for profit in stock people forget to look at the volume of stock that one can trade in a day ...
With no volume in stocks all the TA will work trader way except prices will get manipulated by operator ..( TA + volume )😉😉😉
