Now that's a Cadillac. GM nailed it back then. Like we used to say on the southwest side of Detroit where they were built on Clark Avenue, "that's not a car, that's an automobile". My uncle proudly worked there & loved his job in the final prep garage from '46 through '87. He retired when they closed & moved to Poletown. Great memories.
My parents has this exact car except for the rims. I drove it in high school. Loved it.
I drove a blue one to high-school in 1978 and 1979. Was in incredible condition, bought from a cousin for $225.00 .

That popping from the carburetor was because the engine was still cold. It will hiccup until the engine warms up.
Love this one. Great shape and a good investment. I'd finish running the exhaust to the back. Probably make it run lil better too.
I'd put the holley fuel injection setup on it, hav the steering wheel re-done, and leave the after market wheels on it and find the nearest interstate and cruise all day, lol.

My only concern with this car would be finding parts. Otherwise this is a great entry level car for the average guy wanting to get into the hobby.
