Celebrate the holiday season at the heart of 30 Avenue Montaigne, where Dior opens the doors to the Atelier des Rêves and reveals its magic beneath a starry sky. Artist and illustrator Safia Ouares has created an Advent Calendar like an enchanted night with dancing stars and gold dust. I'd love the calendar, but since I'm so sensitive to fragrances, it doesn't make sense for me to purchase it. I did buy all the holiday sets in the very useable Dior cosmetic totes, for myself and for gifts, thanks to your previous videos on them.

I mean its clearly overly priced but the fact there isn't even 1 single full sized product... the show piece is cute but I think there really should have been a single full sized item at the very least. Great review thank you

Personally, the black version box is prettier then the white one from last year because we can see the ‘design’ better. It’s very hard to see it with the white background of last year.

Visually, Dior knocks these out of the park every year, but...the contents are a serious let down.
Why 2 red lipsticks, 2 of the same fragrances, and three that are men’s fragrances. I understand this is not specific to gender, but let’s be real...how many men are going to shell out $500 for this, so you end up with IMO, 4 items from the prestige line that are ok...the rest I get for free every time I shop at Dior. One could collect all their minis during the year, and make yourself an advent calendar, lol. Hey...maybe i’ll Do that :)
Thanks for spending your money on it so we get to see exactly what is in it. I know they show the details on line but seeing them in person really makes it hit home how many duds are in this.
I agree about the duplicates 😭 I do love the snow globe and fully intend to reuse this next year and replace with fresh goods to be opened throughout December 🥰
@@AHeatedMess , I am going to make advent calendars for my Mom and Sister using the plethora of lovely samples I collect over the year from Sephora, and department store cosmetic/skin purchases, and of course all the gift with purchases all the major brands have throughout the year. I finally found a darling wooden box- about half the size I think of the YSL and reusable year after year. If any of your viewers are from Canada, I highly recommend checking out the Cluckstein wooden advent calendar from the Hudson's Bay, it's very lovely, and on sale right now for Bay days :)

The calendar is visually stunning but to be honest I don’t like paying $$$$ for all mini sizes. I picked up the net a porter advent calendar which is $$$ but I think it is totally worth it where I’m actually thinking of getting another one. Thanks for doing this reveal though. I enjoyed it!

I’m not really willing to pay a premium price for duplicate samples and a plastic snow globe (looks like plastic) but it’s appealing for anyone who starting out a collection and likes designer keepsakes.

I think I would get it for about half the price OR if the packaging was actually made of wood or plastic -- some more durable material so I could keep it and use it for decor year after year. Also if there were less fragrance and more skincare/makeup -- I have hundreds of fragrance samples.
This is sooo much better than the Sephora advent calendars!! They give you eye shadow applicators and a micro-sponge!! oh and soap to clean your micro sponge, eyelash glue... oh and a few more eye shadow applicators in a different date.. yah talk about disappointing!! At least you get some nice deluxe samples with cute bottles.
I think its absolutely beautiful and the fact that you actually use the majority of products already is a plus in my mind. 😍

I really like it but I don’t like the lipsticks. Not sure if I think it’s worth the price tag having so many doubles. EDP or EDT...but not both, at least not for that price. Also, I love the back box. It’s stunning!

I think most people get this wrong, they will always have a profit on these things and you never will get exactly what you paid for, if you are thinking that way. What you pay for is the experience and the anticipation of opening dozens of little gifts, one for every day up until Christmas. It’s more the experience than the items themselves

When I saw your thumbnail I clicked on your video! I learned about the Dior advent calendar end of last year and although I didn’t see last or this year’s in person I like that this year‘s has the Christmas tree and Eiffel Tower. Thanks for doing this video 😊. I was curious what the items were included but this item isn’t listed on the Canadian site nor can we buy with Dior online. Too bad there weren’t any Maison fragrances inside but some of the samples are great. I received a sample of the prestige serum and I find it brightens the skin. Hopefully you like it but yes the prestige line is pricey and I love the capture line. Love the snow globe. I don’t know if I would pick up this advent if i did find it because of the price point and I have most of these items either in full or sample size but it’s very artistic.
