Meta Knight: Master swordsman who wields one of the galaxys deadliest weapons and even has his original sword from Adventure as a backup should he lose it during the fight.

Honestly, this makes me want to see a variation on all of these fights with arenas designed around Mouthfuls. Like for the Armadillo fight, his arena can have railroad tracks with lifts mounted on them, and you can use them to block his ball-rolling attack. Or for a fight like Dedede or Leongar, have the stairs present to act as a barrier, as well as a means of avoiding an attack that covers the entire floor. Of course, you would need to disable/reduce Mouthful damage to make it so you can't cheese the bosses with their attacks, but I could see it adding a bit of variety and strategy to bosses if done right.
People are acting like these bosses were originally intended to be fought with mouthfuls at some point, but like... the mouthfuls are programmed to deal damage and the bosses are programmed to take damage. This is just an oversight that you would never see in-game lol
+ You get to fight mini-bosses with mouthful mode sometimes so it's totally normal it works against bosses
yeah, given that only the big bosses don't interact with mouthful mode, and enemies probably don't take fancy damage from mouthful mode attacks, you would expect modes to be a better than copy abilities but not crash the game if you have them fight bosses.

They should have had a boss rush where you use the mouthful modes to fight the bosses, like as a 100% completion mode reward. Just something fun you get for 100% the game, here you can use all the mouthful modes to fight all the bosses.

I wonder if having sword and mouthful mode during the meta knight would still let you do a really janky parry. It probably wouldn’t count as having sword but I’m still curious.

(getting the sword before the fight and mouthful transformation may work, too)
They should really do this as in Star Allies you could wait him out then he will jump down and kick the sword lol…

It would allow you to fully swallow objects and you would be able to use them later

sillydillo already looked silly (literally the entire point), but lightbulb kirby running away from him in the first phase is even sillier
Imagine this, on my gameplay I was Ring Kirby chasing a bunch of coins that ran away from me
Sillydillo looked confused on how does kirb just escape the cage which his head is huge

Either fight cannot continue or the boss gets teleported back into the arena

I like how there's blatant hacks or glitch exploits going on just to make this *possible*..
And yet it took *hiding behind the vending machine* to make me go "Okay that is just cheating"
I really wish we got a boss for all of the mouthful modes

@@justanormalpokemon4048 To be clear, they were saying how they thought the bosses would just go through the objects like they're non-existent but those objects can actually be used as barricades like the Clawroline, Sillydillo and Leongar fights
Stairs vs ball elfilis would be op. You can avoid everything since it’s hit box is so big. You can do damage with it and it’s a good thing to stand on so you can avoid attacks.
Especially the red ball form attack.

Hoping we get updates like with Star Allies! And a Mouthful Battle mode would be awesome!
It would be perfect a Dedede and Metaknight story mode, i mean the figurine lore says that they get there before Kirby, MK explore the first country before he comes back to waddle Dee town to protect it from the beast pack.
It would be something like this
Metaknight story: he flew into the portal and ends up on the forgotten land, his levels were the meadow, coast, park and snowy worlds with each world with their own missions to get rare stones and rare stones shards as rewards, as final boss, Forgo tries to control Metaknight's mind but he resist and that creates Phantom Metaknight and that's was the final boss
For Dedede story: he was sucked by the portal and ends up on the other country, his worlds can be the desert and volcano worlds and his final boss would be Leongar, Dedede fights him because he's slaving the waddle dees, after the fight Forgo takes Dedede's mind
And as a reward for finishing those story mode, you unlock Dedede and Metaknight as multiplayer, you just have to talk to them on the Town
I noticed you can use onion ring (or how thats exact mouthful where you can blow gust of wind is called) against Fleurina definitely made me exited.
HAL Lab was big brain and gave you chance to use mouthfuls which are otherwise impossible to get in boss fight so them having hitbox too for it is big +.

7:50 I love how your playing with Leon by using his staircase, especially when hes dragging his claws on the Floor when he jumps up he is dragging them in air but he then quickly realizes hes in wrong level so he goes into equal battlefield, in other words: down.
Mouthful mode moves where Kirby’s feet are on his model, so when the custom animations they made for base Kirby are played over it, the feet move to where they’re supposed to be.
it's not that bosses have hit-boxes for individual things, they only have a hit-box (Where they can be hurt), and their hurt-box (Where you will be hurt if you touch it). It's just that each mouthful mode that can deal damage has a set amount of damage they deal

This is really cool I wish this were a real thing (maybe they’ll add this ability in a future update)
Edit: I really hope so cause vending machine and ring is really strong and it’d be fun to fight bosses with it
Kind of Overkill if you ask me, unless they nerf their damage so its not overpowered against them.
Like I love how Bosses in this first 3D Kirby Game are actually challenging even in their normal form, on top of Phantom/EX bosses having wildly expanded moveset.

There is some levels where you can fight mini-bosses with mouthful abilities but yeah it could be cool in some bonus mode to have it against bosses
You can use ring to fight in a mini boss. It’s the first level in world 5
They plan to make dlc for this so maybe
It would be kinda cool if there was a mouthful mode challenge mode for the arena
I’m surprised that there is an actual animation for bulb mouth, vending mouth and ring mouth.
i was really surprised we didn't get to see this in the actual game considering kirby games as of late have had sections where you just get to clown on minibosses and maybe even the first major boss using the game's new powerful gimmick
you do in one of the last levels, just not with any big boss
Dont tell me using Truck against Fecto Elfilin wasnt epic enough. At least you can enjoy how it was fun using Car against Gorimondo and him being annoyed, despite HP bar saying otherwise.

There's a mini boss in one level that you can use a Mouthful Mode on for a Waddle Dee
There is actually a way to use one of the mouthful abilities on a boss via glitches.
It's on 6-4 where you fight again Gorimondo. instead of fighting him, do the Hammer Exploit to go over the invisible barrier and try to continue on the level with the akward camera (since it focuses on Gorimondo) but you'll come by a Car Mouthful in which you can suck up and go back to the boss to beat him up with it.

I love how broken Mouthful Mode is, the bosses are programmed to take damage, so it does, and it gets destroyed.
I always had in mind for a mouthful car-centered boss involving a Spanish arena where you fight a matador Minotaur, where the first place you take the role of the bull, but in the second one, the roles are exchanged once the bullfighter embraces his bull nature and now you must be the matador
Now beat Chaos Elfifis with a car. I dare you.
Funny that against Leongar you use STAIRS
Kind of CRUSHING revelation.
Also hes on top of stairs in multiple accounts.
1. Hes the king of animal kingdom which splits to be in reality and in game.
2. He unintentionally used stationary stairs to go up or clipped and levitated with his claws.

Perhaps because having to climb a ladder to get to it was not possible, or because it no longer had mouthfuls that caused damage so as not to repeat, or simply with the final bosses that did not appear, the game crashed. (because you think neither Dedede nor elfilis appear in the video)

How quickly can you defeat Chaos Elfilis with a vending machine?
Pretty sure the only reason they work is that they kill enemies.
They probably “overkill” enemies, like doing 4 times the health of the average enemy, which is why it does so much to bosses.

worst enemies: small spaces, doors, some can't jump, die/take damage when falling into water (or just can't swim) and stairs.
