@@mau-r1ce , no they're not. The handles are the 2 wings of that central strap, which I'm assuming is very flexible and can be folded up to become handles. See it at 3:11.

I think at the end, you're supposed to fold up the handles to carry it, not grab the middle section.
The handles are covered by the storage net, so no.
