Jeff, you basically explained what tilt is, in a much more concise and accurate way than ive ever been able to put together in my head 👏. Also only playing max 3 games regardless of wins or losses is really important to avoiding tilt, especially in the long run.
One of the most self contribution you can do to your self is to keep an open mind and explore a new creative metas, when I use to play with my friend we end up in the same situation like you and we took a brake and explore new tactics such as smokes flashs position... and end up leveling up till we made it Congrats on the progress and gl
Hey Jeff. I feel the "getting tilted over trollers/griefers" part a lot. I've quit competitive cs:go for well a month at some point - unless you were in a 5stack there was almost guaranteed that one idiot trying to knife then being toxic because we didn't bait for them Its gotten to the point where we would get matchmaking timeouts for kicking too many teammates - getting punished for wanting to play the game properly made me leave for good Edit : typo
You really hit the nail right on the head with this one it's just so true you try so hard to get teamplay going but the random nature of solo q just means you can't have that consistency
Honestly when I’m pissed at a game/teammates I don’t just take a break. I do something during that break. Maybe take a nap or workout. Honestly it changed my mindset and I really only get mad when I make a mistake over and over way too much
thank you, im so close to give up everything in csgo. I get so frustrated by my teammates when they have absolute zero communication and they straight dont even hear u calling, or baiting you. i will keep your advice in mind.
I think what u just explained doesn't just apply to CS GO. It applies to everything in real life as well if u want to be successful. It's been years since i quit CS GO and i was an exceptional player, so i understand you completely. Especially the couter-productive loop where u are frustrated and you keep queuing up to just gain back that elo you lost because of some 'idiot'. It's not about just putting hardwork, it's about working smart while being productive and doing the same thing consistently. Working too hard makes your ability to grow redundant. I LOVED THIS VIDEO AND YOUR PERSPECTIVE YOU SHARED WITH IT. And i believe no matter how far we think we have come, there is ALWAYS a learning curve.
Really glad you found your spark for csgo again. I love your content.
Před rokem
Not playing too many games helped me to rank up as well. On a working day max 1 game. On a weekend maybe you can play more because you are not tired from work.
So I spend all day trying to sign into faceit after about a year break. Then I finally get back in. Open CZcams and get recommendationed this video! Universe works in mysterious ways 🤣🍻
I used to get really tilted but now when I know the team is trolling etc I just use it as an opportunity to practice certain things such as going for map control mid on mirage etc
What a nice CSGO video. Happy, positive, facing the realities of your own mistakes, and those of others. I still make too many myself. I need to get serious and work on it. Thank you.
hey Jeff, great insights on the mind aspect of CS:GO - it's much appreciated and rarely talked about. Could you share your crosshair as well? (the cyan one, thanks!)
It would be cool if you made a video explaining how matchmaking Global game differs from a Level 10 Faceit game. Like what a level 10 would do and what a Global does. What makes them different. Hope, you get my point
Very usefull video actually. I just grinded my way from lvl 5 to lvl 8 in a couple of days, and then I throw it away by re-queing again and again after matchups with horrible teammates, and I slowly become angry and empty inside (hyperbole) even though I'm usually a highly motivated player. I'll take your advide, to try and take a break and distance myself from the toxicity instead of requeing again and again gambling on getting a good team, while I'm becomming a worse teammate myself with every passing bad experience :D
Hello Jeff! I have been watching your videos and you were a big inspiration for me to start playing CSGO in March 2021. I reached Global in 800 hours, Faceit lvl 9 in 2k hours, but right now I’m stuck in 1,9k elo, mostly because I play solo only (2,5k hours now). I want to keep improving but I feel like I cannot do it playing solo. This video describes my feelings too much. Any advice on finding decent teammates that I could play with and how to keep improving?
I agree in alot of parts here. For me the hardest challange I have is that I am usually the support player or the one entry so mostly I am further down on scoreboard and for that I am getting griefed and called stuff that is not so appropriate. Don't know how to mentally get through that yet x)
Thanks for the advice Jeff. For me, I recently started playing csgo again. When I am trying to get my first 10 matches, I get players that don't know to plant or to complete the objective. The enemy team also has a lot of hackers. What can I do to do better on these matches, as I don't want a bad rank. I play short matches, I average about 10-20 kills every game and get 50% headshots.
If youre playing solo q the thing that has helped me overall is to play positions that have the potential for biggest impact on the game. Such as connector/stairs on Mirage, or arch/B support on inferno (on CT). Oor taking banana control on inferno for T. Forcing myself to be the carry in these high impact positions and not relying on others has improved my skill a lot. I have always been a natural support player relying on utility or better players to win games. Now when I run into a player I can tell knows how to frag, I try to make plays for them to be successful. Watching their spawns and flashing for them or smoking for them. And if they say they are doing something particular I will facilitate that play however I can. It definitely helps the games and has started getting me more wins.
hat still doesn't change the fact that there are 49million kangaroos in Australia and 3.5million people in Uruguay which means if the kangaroos were to invade Uruguay each person will have to fight 14 kangaroos
Are there any good free maps to train your aim beside aim_botz? Like the training you did where boots kept peeking you from different angles? I used to try to get that kind of training from deathmatch or retakes but both kind of don't quite get there.
Most people give up at 2-0 but guess what, the secret is just so simple cuz today,I had a faceit match and the score was 12-3(we had 3 points )and we somehow did a comback and won 19-17,me and my team were just playing serious, calm and slow and staying on sites.remeber, makeing a team would help you a lot with pretty much everything (im a noob and I cant prove that the things I just said where some good advices but thats my opinion)
I bought a pc and started playing cs last week. Matchmaking is horrible and i don’t feel like ruining faceit players games. Do you have any tips for me? You’re vids are kinda helping me to get better and know what to do so thanks for that :)
Guy griefing with the bomb isn't an idiot. It's baiting the (supposedly near) ct to look at the bombsite instead of checking other angles where teammates might hide, and the constant ticking masks accidental teammate steps when peeking.
I was in a 1v5 in Faceit by myself no callouts and my team gets mad that i didn't get a frag even though there is 2 awpers watching every exit i have and and 3 people rushing me directly.

2:06 - amazing video Easter Egg.. you said "exploit" and showed "exploit" at the same time 🤪
hi
Man, i love your vidoes, the way you talk about that and the fact that i can learn soooo much from that! You are doing great, have a awesome day Jeff!

thats what you get for being toxic i dont know how u cant realise that you are the one being toxic smh
Really enjoyed your explanations in this one. Great video!
Glad it's going well. Sending love, we hope you're improving on the health part too
Thank you so much for you content. It is truely amazing seeing your work!♥ much love from Germany
You really hit the nail right on the head with this one it's just so true you try so hard to get teamplay going but the random nature of solo q just means you can't have that consistency
Great video Yeff! Happy to see you enjoy playing and grinding the game again! Keep it up! Always happy to see an update video of your climb!
Honestly when I’m pissed at a game/teammates I don’t just take a break. I do something during that break. Maybe take a nap or workout. Honestly it changed my mindset and I really only get mad when I make a mistake over and over way too much
I stopped raging when started playing to get better instead of playing to win, and it has boosted my skill by a long shot
My dude, this energy is the good stuff

@@tappajaav I guarentee this guy was not “exceptional” who tf describes themselves like that lol
i really enjoy your content. thanks Jeff
Loving the evolution. Keep it, bro!
As always great content. Looking forward to seeing your breakdown of games again
I just watched the first part today for the first time wondering when you'll release the second one and I just got a surprise.
I know we only see the highlights, but my god Jeff, you hit those shots ❤️
I Always love your videos man. Good Luck with the grind.
Posture check always gets me 😂
Thanks for that!
Looking forward to upcoming videos!!
Coach someone from silver/gold/anything to global. It would be fun to watch
Hey Jeff, I really liked the positive energy of that video :)
Just wanted to say I love your road to L10 videos.
Really glad you found your spark for csgo again. I love your content.

Amazing content
Let me know if I can help you, brother
Hey Jeff, also curious if you're training your aim and how you're doing that?
i was hard stuck LEM for a year and only solo queed, now I started playing with one good mate and i got to Global in 1 week
Great vid once again! I'm happy you found a healthy way to interact with the game :)
I like this series. Thanks YEFF
I feel this video so much, just shifted down to DMG
So I spend all day trying to sign into faceit after about a year break. Then I finally get back in. Open CZcams and get recommendationed this video! Universe works in mysterious ways 🤣🍻
I have the requeu issue constantly, I had to take breaks in between groups of matches and sometimes you just roll the dice and it never pays off
in your first exmple what you will find is if pros are caught off guard like that they move first before they shoot.
Thank you.
cant wait for tip video bro. Great improvement you made
You made my day better

As always - nice one!

The over compensated joke was a good one!
I can’t even play one game without feeling like shit. Im glad i put that game on the shelf

I can never remember which video started the "A D A D" song used in the outro
Once again though, goods video, much enjoyment

The thing is, I've always wanted to get better at games but I never try to. I think that I can just play and I will get better with time
i just dont talk till i get out of silver or in faceit the equivalent of silver and it works like a charm
Mid sea faceit is so nice, can't say about high faceit though.

Im currently MGE in MM would you suggest that I play Faceit till lvl 7 so its easier on MM?
Guy griefing with the bomb isn't an idiot. It's baiting the (supposedly near) ct to look at the bombsite instead of checking other angles where teammates might hide, and the constant ticking masks accidental teammate steps when peeking.
You can definitely have your own discord and always queue with friends.
Will you make an actual road to 10 lvl faceit?
2:59 hehe the subtile "overcompensate" joke
I was in a 1v5 in Faceit by myself no callouts and my team gets mad that i didn't get a frag even though there is 2 awpers watching every exit i have and and 3 people rushing me directly.
rush algorithm do not stop
We need more inside the mind of global but faceit version :)
Good vid
I want to watch full gameplay but dont want to watching stream can i ask where ?
