As a Niners fan, Deebo has become super underrated for the average NFL fan. The Niners offense looked terrible in every game he was out, including the NFC Divisional against the Packers. He make any play a touchdown as he is probably the toughest dude to tackle in the NFL right now, and you can see how much better the offense clocks when the defense has to scheme for Samuel. I would love to keep BA, but I think Deebo is more valuable for us. But it won’t matter, the Niners will do what they always do and sign BA to a multi year extension at the end of the free agency period.

Your absolutely right! The 49ers have a top 30 draft visit with with Javon Baker! Have in person draft visits with Brandon McCaffrey who is Christian McCaffreys brother, Terrell Owen's son, and Brendan Rice who's Jerry Rices son.
Any one of those players could easily replace Brandon Aiyuk.
Trade him the Steelers for their 1st round pick in this year's draft and
And use their 19th pick to draft the best player available. Then the can give Brock Purdy a long term contract of at least 45 million.
The other issue with wr position, esp Aiyuk level wrs is they want to ball out. BA didn't feel the 9ers used him as much as they should have in the sb. Raiders paid Devante Adams & then screwed up his legacy by crapping over the qb position. DA was furious about qb decisions. He said in an interview that he needs to make a difference NOW, not whenever the team gets their act together. I think if BA stays, he needs to get paid & the 9ers need to use him in playoffs as much as regular season. He's watching out for his legacy as well as pocketbook.
The chemistry between Purdy and Aiyuk is out of this world. It’s outstanding. They read each other well. Please don’t leave BA!!

Team basically signed Javon Hargrave instead of paying Aiyuk. That is the reality of it. I love Javon but this team never needed him. Team has to find a way to keep Aiyuk he is just to good to lose and he is better than Deebo. Hargrave is getting 4/84 million 40 guaranteed and Deebo CAN get let go 2025 so they need to keep Aiyuk til they can get the cap money to sign him. The big question is can Brock Purdy carry this team?

@@marza339 cost too much for half a season of play. But with Mccaffrey, Samuel, Williams and now Aiyuk (and Purdy in the future) they have easily one of the most expensive offenses. Teams in general, but so damn much is tied to just 4 offensive guys, and Kittle hasn’t been in the same in forever.

Purdy will get paid after this season, it’s just one more cheap year for him, they’ll redo his contract at $45 million minimum, maybe over $50 million depending on how next year goes.
2 years left on his low price deal. Also, $45 mil is fair for Brock and the cap will go up. I worry about life after Trent.

So far don’t pay top money to a QB, RB or WR that’s I’ve heard. I get the previous years show that the there aren’t top paid guys in the SB but it can’t always be to not pay your franchise QB, top RB, or top WR.

Aiyuk is a serious open field problem for all NFL defenses
3 receptions for 49 yards didn’t seem like too much of a problem for Kansas City. More than likely he’s a problem for the less talented NFC! The last two years the NFC champions looked unstoppable until they faced an AFC team.

Deebo is just a better player then Aiyuk, sorrrry but it’s true. I actually got to see him play while he was in college, he was unstoppable, he was lightning quick, and the way he processes things in just seconds is amazing, he couldn’t be stopped or contained, no one could catch him, and every night he was cooking and moped his opponents with the floor. He was one of my favorites when he was entering the draft that year. I know this might be favoritism cause I’ve never seen Aiyuk when he was in college but the 9’ers have to do something now. If I were the 9’ers GM I would trade Brandon Aiyuk and keep Deebo Samuel. The only team that has same player as Aiyuk is the Chargers, and I am a targeted both Joey Bosa and Austin Ekler, with there first round draft pick this year, for Aiyuk’s services. That’s just the smart and safe move I would take
