he was the best blues guitarist ever
Gary was one of the best guitarists around with a distinctive sound. Sadly taken from us too soon in 2011 aged 58. Parisienne Walkways and Empty Rooms are amazing songs too.
Empty Rooms live in Zurich ( i think) is amazing.
Friday on my mind, Out in the field , the loner
It was an utter tragedy when Gary died at only 58, I saw him play with Lizzy, Colosseum II, his own band G Force and on his own, for me one of the real guitar gods and nowhere near as well known as he should have been.
Story Of The Blues too
@@huck944 Stockholm.
Gary is the 🐐. No one else can touch his playing. He can rip your heart out with the blues, or melt your face. RIP Mr Moore.
I'm a Stratocaster kind of dude myself, but Gary really could play.
No one could make a guitar cry, moan, scream and sing like Gary Moore. You can feel each note deep in your heart and in your bones.
God bless his soul RIP Gary he was amazing 💔 heartbroken when he passed xx
Yeah....................................me too. Man could he play it.
This song always drive me to tears. My wife passed away time ago but i still fot the blues for her
One of the most emotional pieces of music that I’ve ever heard. Ever.
Gary wrote the song OVER THE HILLS AND FARAWAY. The song that you reacted before but Tarja and Floor version.
Gary moore is one of the most underrated guitar players in the world. You should definitely check out his other work, gary moore and friends emerald and still in love with you is a recommendation insanely good!
RIP GARY. YOU PAVED THE ROAD FOR THE MUSIC WORLD! A guitar legend!
Gary is playing one of the most iconic guitars ever, a 59 Les Paul that was owned by Peter Green named "greeny". Kirk Hammett of Metallica now owns it and he paid a reported $2 million for it. Sweet sound!!
dont forget that it was really unique due to the neck pickup being wound backwards from the factory by accident.
Looks like "stripe" to me. His best sounding burst imo
Give me a gibbo over a strat every time a gibbo in the right hands can actually cry but I will say listen to Ritchie Blackmore on a strat
That’s not Greeny, that’s Stripe. Look at the pots !
Sadley thats not the Greeny
Gary Moore & Phil Lynott Out in the fields next
Gary first came to prominence as a member of the band Thin Lizzy.
This song makes you feel alive. It is so sad that we lost Gary Moore at such a young age. He truly was and still is one of the most phenomenal guitarists ever. And whenever I hear this I think of my dad. This was one of his favorite songs when he was alive
Gary Moore RIP. Master of melody and feeling. Great vocalist too. Sorely missed.
A truly superb masterpiece of a man pouring out his heart and soul with his guitar. If this doesn’t move you to tears, you’re not human.
Gary Moore - literally dripping with talent. Taken way too soon.R.I.P.

True true
Love being Irish and watching a fellow countryman play like that. "Hon Garry."
Such an expressive guitarist/singer, the glory of his artistry will never be forgotten by blues-rock fans all over the world. This ballad surpasses the definition of Emotional.
Somewhere in heaven, you get to watch Stevie Ray & Gary Moore play. Got to be unreal 🙏🏻💫
The man! Gary Moore! One of the best guitarist ever.
Empty rooms by him I highly recommend !!
Live in stockholm definitely
Yes, live 1987... Great line up
Was in England in the AF when Empty Rooms came out, as well as Out in the Fields. I had tickets to see him, but I got sent back to the States...where almost nobody had heard of him. I couldn't believe he wasn't bigger over here. I'll take him over Clapton and Page any day of the week.
One of the best players ever to come out of Ireland the other of course being Rory Gallagher R.I.P. to both of them
Great reaction to IMO the greatest guitarist ever. RIP Gary.
Gary a son of Ulster Belfast born one of the greatest guitar players ever to grace any stage, world class. Born left handed he taut himself to play right handed, that's the genius in him. The angels took him too early "faugh a ballagh" Gary.
Gary Moores "The meassiah will come again" live at Montreux is an ABSOLUTE must see!! You'll never forget this song after you hear it!
In the 80’s Gary went through a hard rock phase and wrote some absolute bangers. Victims of the Future, Shapes of Things, Murder in the Skies...all worth checking out. But his all time masterpiece has the be Parisienne Walkways, the slow, bluesy song that he and Phil Lynot played together. Pure magic! BTW...since you played Gary Moore and you regularly play Iron Maiden I finally hit the subscribe button. Love the reactions (PS Don’t forget about Judas Priest)
Shapes Of Things was written by The Yarbirds in the 1960s.
RIP Gary!!! your music forever lives on!!!
"The Messiah Will Come Again" Live at Montreux is a must view you two !!!! He was such a conduit to the music much like SRV - those two will always move me in ways other cannot !!! Great reaction !!!
Couldn't agree more. One of the most incredible performances I have ever seen
@@jonboy8951 tears everytime !! one the most impactful, moving and technical showings of guitar playing ever, he was so moving ♥️♥️
Possibly the best live guitar moment ever caught on video
yess
Couldnt agree more. The song moves me to tears!
This is my favorite blues song of all time. I’ve heard it hundreds of times and I still get tear eyed when that guitar kicks in.
WHAT A TREMENDOUS TRAGEDY! Mr. Moore taken from us entirely too soon! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE TALENT, GUITAR PLAYING AND SINGING ABOVE AND BEYOND!
Oooooh that guitar tone...so sick. I believe that guitar is the infamous greeny, which was once owned by Peter Green from the original Fleetwood mac. It was the guitar that many big hits were written on. Including Black magic woman that was covered by Santana. The guitar was given to Gary by Peter but when Gary died The guitar was sold at an auction and bought by Kirk Hammet from Metallica for about $1.2 million. It has a pickup switch on it that apparently makes it sound like a strat played through a 100watt Marshall. It has an incredible amount of sustain and pure tone.
His live version of The Messiah Will Come Again is a master class on guitar playing.
This has come as a surprise! Gary was from my home town and I have seen him play more times than I can count. One performance that will always stick with me was in Belfast Ulster hall Dec 18 1984 when Phil Lynott came on stage to play Parisienne walkways with Gary!! What is significant about this Phil died 16 days later on Jan 4 1985!! I am glad this concert was recorded for posterity and I know where I was watching this, two from the front 😎. Gary Moore one of the finest guitarists to grace this planet!!
That was my "broken hart song" in my youth in early 90s :))
Gary Moore was a monster player. I saw him twice.I wanted to go home and burn my guitars. I've been a blues man for years. When my daughter was young she always told me I made the guitar cry. You two gotta check out Gary Moore playing Red House live. He's playing a beat up 67 Stratocaster with the amp on 11. The guy could control the overblown Marshall better than anyone. Well SRV could too.
Dude, check out Danny Gatton, who at one point was considered to be the greatest unknown guitarist in the late 80s to early 90s till he committed suicide. Saw him live 6 months before, he had SRV level talent.
The tears are falling from his guitar
You Guys Should Check Out Loner By Gary Moore, He Doesn't Sing On that One But he Makes his Guitar Sing.
You aint kidding. That one is filled with more soul than most graveyards.
Saw him playing live with Skid Row many many years ago when he was still in his teens, gifted guitarist.
Yes, but the skid row form the 70 s, not the other ones!😄
@@skyscraper7474 ,yes that's the band I saw, also have the album. They were on the same bill as Atomic Rooster, Writing on the Wall,Keef Hartley to name a few.Awesome day out.
Gary could squeeze so much emotion out of one note!
Gary Moore over the hills
R.I.P. Gary, You're Still The Best...💔💯🙏
the greatest irish guitar of all time
This song is really good to play when you drive at night on the lonely road.
The bass is amazing on this track
Andy Pyle I believe
Oh this is so good, so good! Haven't heard this in a while...Thank you Collin for bringing it back to my life 😊 Amazing feeling 😍
I I have loved this song for so many years and still every time I hear it it gives me goose bumps. Unbelievable
Around this time period, Gary was doing hard rock albums. 1987's *Wild Frontier* had the gorgeous *"The Loner"* blues influence instrumental tune where the guitar was the singer. Then on his 1989 album (only on the CD release version) *After the War.* He covered the Roy Buchanan instrumental tune *"The Messiah Will Come Again".* A fabulous take that again is heavy in the blues and made that guitar sing again.
This was also a time where Gary lost his former band mate & best friend *Philip Lynott (founder, bass, writer, singer) of Thin Lizzy.* Lynott died in 1986 at the age of 36. That hit Gary pretty hard.
Gary also didn't like staying in the same genre too long. With the previous songs *Loner & Messiah.* It was not a shock that Gary Moore went into hard core blues. The shock was 1980's Gary Moore's album *Still Got the Blues* was a terrific blues rock influence album.
Gary died in 2011. Now he's in rock n roll heaven playing his guitar with his best friend by his side playing like the old days.
Well there's been alot of great blues guitar players/singers and Gary Moore is definitely one of 'em..Great song..great everything
Just amazing
Gary was a one off without doubt..I saw him many times here in England...so sad he passed so young .🎸❤️
The electricity from that guitar fries Gary's hair and makes it stand on end 😅
He's the best the song love all of the songs especially I got the blues for you and the one that told you that play it you'd love it and I know you would he is so wonderful he was so wonderful thank you for listening to it all the songs are good but this is the best I love the blues
Kirk Hammett now owns Gary's 1959 Les Paul, that was once owned by Peter Green. Love that guitar!
Gary was a special artist. One of a kind. Of course we all know what an amazing guitarist he was but, what a voice also. Looking forward to tour reaction.
I'm really glad Peter Greene gave this guitar away. Talk about the right instrument in the right artist's hands...wow.
Visit his resting place everytime i am in Brighton. Just sit there and think of his great music .
Garry Moore started in the band Thin Lizzy one of the best blues guitarist to come out of Great Britain , are the Wolf Hunterz going to do a live show on you tube or crowd cast.
He started in Skid Row and he was from Northern Ireland. UK but not GB.
when god needs to add a new musician to his heavenly band he takes them before their time.
Perfect reaction! My face also contorts when I listen to Gary Moore and hear othwr spectacular guitar solos, too.
Check out Carlos Santana's "Europa" and "Samba Pa Ti".
Your face will fall off 🤣
When a singer and guitar become one...saaaannnnggg Gary...whew!!!!!
Have you guys checked out Gary Ritchrath live version of "flying turkey trot"? If ya get a chance....
Gary Moore was the lead guitarist for the 70's band "Thin Lizzy"
Victims of the Future! Shapes of things! The jungle! Anything with Thin Lizzy!.. Dancing in the Moonlight! John Sykes was in Thin Lizzy too
Welcome to the world of Gary Moore
If I’m not mistaken, Gary was the lead guitarist for the 80’s rock band “Thin Lizzy”. Gary was an underrated blues artist, but blues was his true musical love.
Gary is one of my biggest guitar influences, along with John Sykes and Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen. R.I.P. . Still missed..
I love watching people react to this song for the first time. They're all blown away by his singing before they've even heard him go off on the guitar.
Gary, you are sadly missed... Been a fan since 1980´s, love his heavy metal records and appreciate his later blues-period, nevertheless, one of the best guitarists of all time, signature sound you just know, when you hear it. Try Empty Rooms, you will be pleased. Empty Rooms, it is.
This song is iconic and has been part of my life since I can remember! I always find myself murmuring it in random times
Gary Moore born in Belfast Northern Ireland. Played with Thin lizzy, was a gifted singer and great guitarist and spent hours honing his craft. Often flew under the radar. He was a great contributor to the Irish blues and Celtic soul.
He cured my anxiety and depression or nearly the man was so talented it's unreal rip gazza
I do really enjoy your reactions. Great song from a supremely talented chap. RIP Gary!
Gary Moore is just amazing. You could react to The Messiah will come again, or Parisienne Walkways. Two masterpieces full of emotion. Congrats on the channel!!!
Out in the fields is another classic track by Gary and Phil from Thin Lizzy 1985.
Best blues solo ever.
Ahh the look and emotion on Suzies face has made my night and if Travis doesn't give her a big hug I will gladly step in.. Great stuff u guys!
That guitar isone special lady..........that guitar is Greeny...........given to Gary from Peter Green ...........that guitar is legendary

R.i.p Gary Moore one of the greatest
one more crazy talented dudes that choked on his spew
WAHOUH ... Thank you 😊
I walked in to a pub back here in England, me and some mates actually - we stood at the bar, ordering some drinks and this crazy amazing guitar was playing behind us. I turned to the barman and said who is that and he said, that's Gary Moore! I confess, I barely knew who he was, but my mate's face was a picture, his mouth was wide open, he knew who Gary Moore was! This was a small venue, always makes for the best atmosphere and boy was that an amazing night!
HAY, IT'S THE BLUES!!! Lots of pain and anguish in the Blues. But usually always, fantastic guitar.
stevie ray vaughan texas flood live el mocambo reaction
Parisienne Walkways Live by Gary Moore is a MUST, great reaction.
I saw Gary play in a stripped out Sheffield theatre in the early 80s. He was on tour with Greg Lake of Emerson Lake and Palmer. The other great blues player was Rory Gallagher. He loved to play so much he'd play encore after encore until the venue pulled the plug. I've never seen a Rory reaction, so maybe they get blocked.
Oh Rory! I love him so so much!
@@purpleir I saw him live every chance I got! RIP you genius.
@@jeannettesimpson9778 ah you are so lucky! 🌷 I never managed to see him live! But he is a part of my soul forever. Truly one of a kind musician!
@@purpleir I am blessed. Absolutely unique as a musician. Agreed.

AWESOME REACTION VIDEO, been listening to Gary Moore since I was a little girl. Love him, my only regret is never been able to see him live :'(
Nothing like a good Gary Moore blues song. He was a serious guitar slayer.
Blues gives me emotions, but Gary gives me a F5 Tornado of emotions, what a rollercoaster is that... every time again...
there is the man voice and playing guitars skill like god. amazing man. thanx to great reaction and of course great day there.
