Your collection is absolutely awesome mate! I honestly miss the 2000's Era... easier times. But yeah Spider-Man 3 probably had one of the best marketing campaigns for any movie, in recent decades!

It's ironic that it had the best marketing and made th3 most money, but it was the worst of the 3 films, but ya, I remember not sleeping at night on Thursday cause I knew I was watching the movie the next day

Spider-Man 2 is my favorite. I was 9 the year the first film came out, and man, that first film changed my life. I often look back on this trilogy as being the one that showed me the power of film and stories that resonate. It feels so long ago now, but I still hold these films so damn close to my heart. And none of the marvel films have been able to touch my heart the way these have. Maybe that's because I was a fan in an era that was pre MCU, but Raimi's films were so sincere and had so much heart that you don't see much of today. In 2004, I pre ordered the Spider-Man 2 game long before the movie was out and they gave me a giant teaser poster that I had up until like 2014. I had a ton of stuff haha. I first had the Spider-Man 2002 VHS, but then upgraded to the DVD once i got a player. I could go on and on haha. a hat I got for pre ordering the 2nd film on DVD from FYE haha, and I ended up seeing Spider-Man 2 4 times in the theater. I also had that Spider-Man 3 pack you showed off at the start haha. The one you show at 11:23 I got from Wal-Mart in 2003! it had the Spider-man movie and a second disc that showed a sneak peek at Spider-Man 2 with an introduction from Raimi and Alfred Molina in his doc ock outfit too. I still have the special features one, but lost the first movie. regardless, since then I've owned the films on blu ray and now 4k. Anyway, thanks for bringing back the memories.
If you feel like you haven't connected with Spider-Man 2, watch the extended version (2.1). It has additional scenes and extended ones. The second movie is perfect, but the extended version makes you love Spider-Man 2 more and more

I love the whole trilogy, but my favorite one is Spider-Man 2. Spider-Man 2 is and will always be my fav one

9:26 You may have found the answer to these blu rays not being 4k.
But they were a very limited run of regular 1080p (2k) titles that Sony released back in 2013, dropping off most bonus/supplement material in favour of higher bit rate sourced from a "4k Master" and then combined with xvYcc deep colour that would playback via 1080p blu ray player like the ps3 and be upscaled by a new Sony (2013) 4K tv.
They were a stop gap in the market before UHD 4k blu ray came out, which offers the viewer even higher bit rates and HDR wider colour rage.
The Mastered in 4k discs are often seen as the "Superbit" version for blu ray. As Sony did the same thing back in 2002 - 2005 with DVD running almost months before the first blu ray titles came out in 2006, of which Spiderman 1 &2 both came out with Superbit DVD editions with all features stripped and used the whole DVD for picture and sound quality for a DVD.
Mine is 2 and love 3 too but favorite favorite would be definitely 2
I have the first two Spider-Man films on DVD! Used to have the VHS version of the first family, but sadly, the top part of the tape broke, and we had to throw it out. I even had an old copy of the first Spider-Man movie, but it was so scratched up that I decided to get a new copy of it.

As far as I can tell, there was never a Spider-Man 3 fullscreen edition, at least not for Region 1 / NTSC. 2007 was right at the tipping point when distributors began to stop catering to CRT TVs with separate releases for full- and widescreen. The Dark Knight was released in 2008 and received a fullscreen edition, but by then it was already old-fashioned. So, like the Raimi trilogy, the Nolan Batman trilogy got separate editions for the first two films and only widescreen for the final entry (The Dark Knight Rises).
Some people have nostalgia for the 4:3 aspect ratio, but you lose so much of the picture. Every shot's framing is thrown out of whack during the cropping process, doing a disservice to the director's vision. Good riddance to fullscreen and CRTs!

Now that I know what aspect ratio they films were shot in I can’t believe I ever watched a full screen version of Spider-Man 2. I was just a kid back then and didn’t really understand those kind of specifications.
There are some other editions you may be interested in. For the 2002 film there was the Limited Collectors edition. For Spider-Man 2 there was 2.1 and the Collector’s dvd gift set. For Spider-Man 3 there was the Target Exclusive DVD. I also think Spider-Man 1 & 2 were released on Superbit. Finally, there was the vhs for Spider-Man 1 as well.
I ain’t shaming you for the TASMs that’s actually my favorite spider man movies, I grew up with Andrew and stuff

Amazing collection! I too have a Sam raimi Spider-Man dvd collection with both the full and wide screen editions including the bonus dvds for Spider-Man 1 and 2, Spider-Man 3 2 disc special edition and Blu-ray that was included in a ps3 bundle, and a super bit version of Spider-Man 2 that I bought yesterday at goodwill. As for your question about Spider-Man 3 having a full screen edition, it does not exist at all

Man I can still remember getting that Spider-Man 3 DVD with the comic. The comic was awesome! I think it had artwork done by Mark Bagley.

i have them already it`s just that i didn`t know until today that there`s 2 different blu-ray versions with different covers because i thought at the time the high definition pack was another way of saying "not blu-ray" for some reason the information i red was quick and lazy i didn`t have enough time to make the decision now i have a reason to get the high definition pack
