Good review! After 21 months of use, our elea is still going strong (despite the front bar being chewed apart by our son while he was teething)...also the umbrella holder fell off....and the red button alone does not open the stroller. I need to press the side buttons too, or else it gets stuck halfway open. It is really heavy, so I'm glad you mentioned that...and about the lack of sun protection. BUT overall, its a very comfortable chair for our son. I love the wheels/suspension. :)
well, even though it is slightly heavy, my baby at 5 weeks has the best sleeps in it no matter where we go. when i go shopping with my baby, i push the stroller with one hand while selecting my groceries and it's the easiest thing ever... i really love it! and so far, every stroller i've seen that is forward or rearward facing with lie-flat capabilities don't have mega huge hoods. i was more than happy to sacrifice the hood for all the other good stuff.
